Eine nette Haltagestour von Andernach um den Laacher See mit schönen Ausblicken. Etwas für optische Geniesser mit einigen (kurzen aber flowigen) Trails. Vom Parkplatz am Runden Turm durch den Andernacher Stadtwald über kurzen Trail ins Pöntertal. Am Krayerhof vorbei Richtung der" Ruine Heimschule". Schöne Aussicht am Rastplatz Kurbusch Richtung Rheintal. Auf kurzem Trail zur Kreisstrasse und auf den Höhenweg hoch über dem Laacher See mit Blick über den See und Kloster. Kurzer Hohlweg und danach wieder aufwärts zur Teufelskanzel. Von hier Blick zum Krufter Waldsee. Über Serpentinen bergab zum Tagebau und nach kurzem Anstieg auf flowigen Trail zum Parkplatz. Weiter auf Trail, wieder über Strasse, an Kloster vorbei und den Wanderweg langsam ansteigend zum Höhenweg zurück. Hier Blick Richtung Brohltal. Auf kurzem Trail die Strasse querend Richtung Waldfrieden. Von dort noch einmal kurz bergauf und dann eine laaaange Abfahrt auf Forststrasse nach Nickenich. Zwischen Nickenich und Eich der letzte Anstieg zum Mennonitenfriedhof und auf kurzer Asphaltstrecke Richtung Hochkreuz und auf flowigen Trails zum Ausgangspunt zurück. Nach langem Regen sind einige Wegabschnitte am Laacher See ziemlich matschig. Die Trails sind überwiegend gut befahrbar. Ein paar enge oder seile Abschnitte können gut geschoben werden. Wegen der Trails sollte man die Tour in der angegebenen Richtung fahren.

A nice Haltagestour from Andernach to the Laacher lake with beautiful views. Something for optical connoisseurs with some (but short curves, or flowing) trails. From the car park at the Round Tower by Andernacher city forest on short trail to Pöntertal. On Krayerhof past quot direction of &; Ruin Home Schooling & quot ;. Nice view at the rest area Kurbusch the Rhine Valley. The Short Trail to the circular road and the mountain trail high above the Laacher lake with views over the lake and monastery. Short ravine & nbsp; and then back up to the Devil's pulpit. From here, look for Krufter Waldsee. About switchbacks downhill to the open pit and after a short climb on flowing trail to the parking lot. Continue past on trail, back on road to the monastery and the trail slowly rising back to the trail. Here & nbsp; View towards Brohltal. The Short Trail, crossing the road towards the forest peace. From there briefly uphill and then a loooong downhill on forest road to Nickenich. Between Nickenich and calibration of the last climb to the Mennonite cemetery and short asphalt path towards High Cross and flowing trails for Ausgangspunt back. After much rain some parts of the route at the Laacher See are pretty muddy. The trails are mostly passable. A few close or ropes sections can be pushed well. Because of the trails should drive the tour in the specified direction.
