Die Tour folgt im Wesentlichen der Nockbike Tour Nr. 8. Start ist am Parkplatz der Maibrunnbahn. Von dort geht es Richtung Ortszentrum, und dann zuerst auf Asphalt, später auf Schotter in Richtung Kaiserburg. Der Weg verläuft unterhalb der Kaiserburgbahn, in meistens recht angenehmer Steigung bis zur Rossalmhütte auf 1900m. Wer noch nicht genug hat, kann kurz auf der Piste bis zur Kaiserburg (2039m) hinauffahren (bzw. -schieben) und die dezente Alpinarchitektur der Kaiserburg aus der Nähe betrachten. Die Abfahrt führt von der Rossalmhütte zuerst auf einem Forstweg bis zum Strohsack, dann auf der Skipiste zur Bergstation der Maibrunnbahn. Von dort geht es runter Richtung Feldpannalm. Die offizielle Route bleibt immer am Forstweg, während der hier gezeigte Track bei ca. 1620m von der Forststraße Richtung Rieserhütte abzweigt und eine kleine Singletrail-Einlage bietet (im unteren Teil vor der Rieserhütte Schiebe/Tragestrecke), eine Einkehr auf der Hütte hat man sich jetzt verdient, die Hütte ist empfehlenswert. Danach geht es Richtung Feldpannalm, und von dort weiter Richtung Feld am See. Wichtig ist, die Abzweigung Richtung Obertweng nicht zu verpassen, bei ca. 1430m. Wer hier im Abfahrtsschwung vorbeifährt, ist recht schnell im Talboden und muss mühsam nach Bad Kleinkirchheim raufradeln. Die Abzweigung führt auf einen teilweise etwas zugewachsenen Karrenweg, der im Wald ohne großen Höhenverlust Richtung Klamberg führt. Von dort geht es Richtung Obertweng. Bevor man Obertweng erreicht, zweigt man allerdings von der Forststraße ab und folgt der Markierung Richtung Bad Kleinkirchheim. Ein paar Höhenmeter sind noch zu machen, dann steht man wieder am Ausgangspunkt. Alles in allem eine sehr nette Tour, besonders für heiße Sommertage: Durch den recht hohen Ausgangspunkt und den nordseitigen Anstieg ist die Strecke durchaus hochsommertauglich. Durch den Sommerbetrieb der Kaiserburgbahn wird man allerdings keine Bergeinsamkeit und unberührte Gebirgslandschaft vorfinden.

The road runs below the Kaiserburgbahn, in mostly quite pleasant slope to Rossalmhütte at 1900m.
