De Montferlandroute is een van de mooiste tochten in Gelderland. Een pittig parcours met, voor nederland, veel hoogtemeters. Om de hoogtemeters nog wat uit te breiden is deze route uitgebreid met een parocurs in Elten. De uitbreiding van Elten heeft een aantal technisch spectaculaire stukken, mooie downhill stukken met flinke drops (20-40cm) en bovendien ook een downhill parcours. Dit mooie stuk bos is prive eigendom en mountainbikers worden gedoogd. Let dus goed op de andere bosgebruikers. De track in Elten wordt niet onderhouden dus let goed op omgevallen bomen en dergelijke. Echter zorgt dit wel voor die echte mtb beleving! Er zijn vier startpunten waar je van kan vertrekken. Allemaal met een parkeerplaats. Voor het montferland deel heb je een mtb sticker nodig. O.a. verkrijgbaar bij de plaatselijke fietsenwinkel de pedaleur in doetinchem
