Wir starten im Mainzer Stadtteil Mombach und überqueren den Rhein über die Schiersteiner Brücke. Von einem kleinen Hafen geht es dann zunächst durch Weinberge und Obstgärten hinauf nach Frauenstein. Entlang des Lippbachs und vorbei an Georgenborn dann nach Schlangenbad. Von dort aus weiter hinauf, bis auf den Rheingau-Höhenweg, dem wir in westlicher Richtung folgen. Schließlich geht es hinab Richtung Östrich, wo Du am Dorfplatz unbedingt ein Eis essen solltest. Von dort zur Fähre über dne Rhein nach Ingelheim. Zurück am Rhein entlang nach Heidenfahrt und von dort über Heidesheim schließlich nach Mainz-Finthen und Gonsenheim. Von den 60 km sind keine 5 auf Asphalt, Du siehst alle Landschaften und Blickwinkel, die die Region zu bieten hat. Die 3,5 h sind ohne Fähre gerechnet - am besten Du checkst die Fahrzeiten übers internet. Noch was: Ich hab mich zwei mal verfahren - einmal auf dem Höhennweg und einmal kurz vor Finthen, also ansehen und aufpassen ;-) Viel Spaß

We start in the district Mainz Mombachstraße and cross the Rhine on the Schiersteiner bridge. From a small port it goes first through vineyards and orchards up for female stone. Along the Lippbachs and past Georgenborn then Schlangenbad. From there up until the Rheingau Crest Trail, which we follow to the west. Finally, it comes down direction Östrich where you should definitely eat an ice cream at the village square. From there to the ferry over dne Rhine to Ingelheim. Back along the Rhine after Heidenfahrt and from there via Heidenheim finally to Mainz-Finthen and Gonsenheim. Of the 60 km are no 5 on asphalt, you can see all the landscapes and perspectives that the region has to offer. The 3.5 h are calculated without ferry - best you check the travel time over the internet. & Nbsp; Another thing: I've lost my way twice - once on the Höhennweg and once just before Finthen, so watch and watch;-) & nbsp; Have fun
