Wir fahren, der Einfachheit halber, die Passstrasse hoch Richtung Sellajoch, was bei viel Verkehr nicht unbedingt spassig ist. Aber nach der Abzweigung auf das Grödnerjoch lässt der Verkehr spürbar nach, und wir kurbeln sehr regelmässig hoch bis zum Sellajoch. Dort haben wir uns nach gut 600 hm natürlich einen kleinen Imbiss verdient. Weiter geht's mitten durch die Wanderer und durch die Steinerne Stadt. Das sind viele grosse und kleine Findlinge, Zeugen eines vor mehreren Jahrhunderten stattgefundenen Bergsturzes. Wer will kann auch beim Refugio Comici einkehren, dass für gute Speisen bekannt ist. Nach den paar Minuten und Höhenmeter getraue ich mich aber nicht schon wieder einzukehren und mache mich direkt auf die Abfahrt Richtung Monte Pana. Zuerst ein Bergtrail, der mitten durch die Wiese gut genährter Kühe führt und dann bei der Waldeinfahrt in einen Schotterweg mündet. Diesen fahre ich so schnell runter, dass ich den Abzweig Richtung La Selva verpasse und irgendwann auf einem rassigen Wiesentrail auf dem Monte Pana lande. Macht nichts, ich benütze wieder den Trail links der Strasse Richtung Prensa und von dort durch den Wald nach Ciaslat und über die Strasse via La Selva zurück nach Wolkenstein.

We go for the sake of simplicity, the pass road towards Passo Sella high, which is not necessarily funny in a lot of traffic. But after the turn off to the Gardena Pass allows traffic noticeably, and we regularly cranks very high up to the Sella Pass. There we naturally deserved after a good 600 hm a snack. We continue through the middle of the walkers and the Stone Town. The are many large and small boulders, witnesses of a several centuries ago, held landslide. Anyone who wants to can come that is known for good food even when Refugio Comici. After the few minutes and altitude I dare not stop off again and make me right on the exit towards Monte Pana. First, a mountain trail that leads through the meadow well-fed cows and then flows near the forest entrance to a dirt road. This I'm going down so fast that I miss the branch direction La Selva and eventually land on a racy Meadow Trail on Monte Pana. Never mind, I use again the trail left the road to Prensa and from there through the forest to Ciaslat and on the road via La Selva back to Selva.
