Wir starten in Vbroska und fahren auf der Strasse Richtung Jelsa. Vor dem Ort biegen wir rechts ab in Richtung Pitve - einem kleine Bergdorf. Wir fahren auf der Strasse bergauf bis zum Tunnel. Vor dem Tunnel fahren wir rechts, auf den anfangs mit Beton befestigten Schotterweg. Wir gewinnen rasch an Höhe und es öffnet sich die Aussicht auf Hvar. Am höchsten Punkt angekommen biegen wir links ab. Jetzt geht es auf roter staubiger Sandpiste viele Kilometer auf dem Rücken der Insel immer leicht bergab. Ohne Treten können wir die Aussicht auf die beiden Seiten der Insel genießen. Links die Insel Brac - rechts sehen wir die Insel Korcula. Und wie immer auf Hvar - überall Lavendelfelder mit ihrem betörenden Duft und das ununterbrochene Gesumme von Bienen. Vor dem kleinen Dorf fahren wir links auf die Strasse und rollen Richtung Jelsa. Es eröffnen sich ständig tolle Aussichten auf die Küste, die zu verweilen und fotografieren einladen. In Jelsa geht es an der Uferpromenade entlang zurück nach Vbroska.

Before the tunnel we turn right on the dirt road initially fortified with concrete. We quickly gaining altitude and it opens the prospect Hvar. Arrived at the highest point we turn left. Now it's on red dusty dirt road for miles on the back of the island always slightly downhill. Without pedaling, we can enjoy the view of the two sides of the island.
