Der "goldene Oktober" - die deutsche Entsprechung zum nordamerikanischen "Indian Summer" ist auch bei uns, eine der schönsten Zeiten zum biken. Es ist zwar leider nicht mehr so warm wie im Sommer, aber dafür taucht der „Indian Summer“ die Wälder in berauschend schöne Farben, das muß man einfach erleben und geniesen. Diesmal ging es von Thiersheim aus, über den Steinberg nach Hohenberg und von dort über die Grenze. Auf den Grenzwegen geht es dann nach Asch, man ist jedesmal erstaunt, wie die Stadt sich in den letzten Jahren verändert hat. Das nächste Ziel war der "Große Kornberg" mit seinem 827 Meter hohen Gipfel, es ist der nordöstliche Berg des Fichtelgebirges. Er ist ein stark bewaldeter, mächtiger Bergrücken aus Granit, der schon von weitem an dem ehemaligen Aufklärungsturm der Bundeswehr erkennbar ist. viel Spaß !
