Charakter: Anstiege: Sehr gute, breite Forststrassen ("Moser" Bewertung Technik 2). Die Hälfte des Anstiegs im Wald, also auch bei Sonne gut fahrbar. Abfahrt vom Monte Timidone steiler Forstweg teilweise mit groben Schotter und einzelnen Rinnen und Felsen ("Moser" Bewertung Technik 4 mit Tendenz zu 5). Traumhafte Ausblicke auf Cappo Caccia, Isola Piana, Porto Ferro, Monte Doglia, Porto Conte und Spaggia Mugoni. Details: Die Tour führt vollständig durch den abgeschotteten "Foresta demaniale Le Prigionette" im "Parco Naturale Regionale di Porto Conte". Dieser war im Jahr 2010 von 8-16 Uhr geöffnet, eine Registrierung am Eingang ist erforderlich mit Angabe des Fahrtziels. Achtung auf die lokale Fauna (weiße Esel, Wildschweine, Hirsche). Start bei der Forststation, danach rechts auf breiter Forststrasse (die sehr selten auch von Autos befahren wird) erst in Richtung Nordwest und dann leicht ansteigend Richtung West. Nach einem Sattel und kurzer Abfahrt links abbiegen (dem Wegweiser auf den Monte Timidone folgen). Durch Wald und Serpentinen bergan, ab der Hälfte sehr schöne Aussichten. Ca. 60 hm unter dem Gipfel rechts abbiegen zum Feuerbeobachtungsturm hinauf. Hier traumhafte Aussicht wie oben beschreiben. Bergab die ersten Meter wie bergauf, danach rechts auf den schmäleren und schlechteren Forstweg abbiegen. Dieser führt erst auf dem Höhenrücken und dann in Serpentinen rauher als der Anstieg hinunter. Noch einmal sehr schöne Aussichten. Wieder auf der Forststrasse angekommen rechts abbiegen Richtung Nordwest. Nach ca. 1,5 km auf der Forststrasse links abbiegen auf den Parkplatz. Diesen geadeaus Überqueren bis zum Ende der Waldschneise. Links etwas bergab fahren, dann recht in einen Weg einbiegen und diesem bis zu den Klippen folgend. Hier berauschende Aussicht auf die Isola Piana. Danach auf dem selben Weg zurück auf den Parkplatz, am Ende links abbiegen und auf der Forststrasse zurück bis zur Forststation folgen. Wer nun den sehr schönen Strand Mugoni nutzen möchte: der Strasse Richtung Alghero (SS127bis) folgend. Ca. 700m nach der Einmündung der SP55bis an einem Stromverteilerhäuschen recht abbiegen über eine Brücke und einen Parkplatz. Kurz vor dem Bar dem Weg an den sehr schönen Strand folgen.

Here intoxicating views of the Isola Piana. Then at the end, turn on the same way back to the parking lot, turn left and follow the gravel road back to the ranger station.
