Diese Tour ist eine erweiterte Version von Track#43853. Von der Jauken Alm wird das Bike c.a. 100HM auf den Römersteig, der in Richtung Westen führt getragen. Hier staunten beide Seiten nicht schlecht, als mir ein Rudel Lamas entgegen kamen :-) Die Jauke lässt sich entlang vom Römersteig im besten Flow befahren, bevor es darauf etwas steiler, in Serpentinen über Steig R#229 in Richtung Dellacher Alm geht. An der Alm vorbei folgt man R#229 weiter bis auf den Jukbühel. Hier hat man einen super Aussicht auf Kötschach, Gail-, Lesach- und Drautal, Plöckengebiet, Lienzer Dolomiten ... Der Gailtaler Höhenweg R#229 in Richtung Gailberg Sattel führt zunächst recht flach entlang von Almwiesen, später dann mittelschwer immer wieder mal auf und ab durch den Wald bis er schließlich auf c.a. 1450m auf einen Forstweg mündet. Diesen Weg folgt man bis auf den Gailberg Sattel. Knapp 200m unterhalb vom Gailberg Gasthof biegt der R#226 wieder rechts in Richtung Röthen ab. Diesen Weg wird bis zum Rothenkreuz auf 1285m gefolg. Den Augstieg auf den Rothenkopf kann man sich getrost sparen. Ich war sicherlich der erste Biker auf diesem "Gipfel", welcher sich nur durch eine Erhöhung innerhalb vom dichten Wald auszeichnet. Über den Weg R#227, der sich leider als Forstweg entpuppte (wenn man genau hinschaut, lässt sich dies auch in der Karte erkennen), gings zur Bergstation vom Kötschacher Skilift. Anschließend ging's über die Piste in Richtung Tal, um dann über Mörtl und Zoje und schlussendlich über den laut Karte "rot-grün" markierten Steig in Richtung Laas abzufahren (Markierung konnte ich zwar keine finden, dafür traf ich jedoch zufällig die Einstiege immer recht gut an). Auf der linken Seite vom Laaser Bach geht's dann noch mal lässig in Richtung Kötschach. Die vielen Trails auf die man in der Gegend vom Kötschacher Skilift trifft bieten viel potential, müssten jedoch nochmals besser erkundet werden. Danke an Marco für den Jukbühel Tip :-)

This tour is an extended version of track # 43853rd From the Jauken Alm is the bike c.a. 100HM worn on the Roman path which leads to the west. Here both sides were amazed when I came to meet a herd of llamas:-) The Jauke can be along the Römersteig traveled in the best flow before it somewhat steeper switchbacks climbing over R # 229 goes towards Dellacher Alm. On the Alm past one follows R # 229 continues to this Jukbühel. Here you have a great view of Kötschach, Gail, Lesach and Drau, Plöckengebiet, Lienz Dolomites ... The Gail Valley Trail R # 229 in direction Gailberg saddle leads initially quite flat along mountain meadows, later moderately difficult from time to time on and from through the forest until he finally ca 1450m leads to a forest. Follow this road up to the Gailberg saddle. About 200m below the Gailberg Gasthof bends the R # 226 turn right towards Röthen from. This way is entourage to Rothkreuz to 1285m. The Augstieg on the Rothkopf can save you need. I was certainly the first biker on this & quot; Summit & quot ;, which is characterized only by an increase in the dense forest. Then we went down the slopes towards the valley, and then over Moertl and Zoje and finally on the map & quot loud, red-green & quot; abzufahren marked trail towards Laas (mark, although I could not find any, but for that I happened to meet the entrances always quite good at). On the left side of Laas Bach it's off again casually towards Kötschach. The many trails encountered in the area of ??Kötschach ski lift offer much potential, but need to be better explored again.
