Waldmichelbach - Runde (Bessenbach) Rundkurs ab Wanderparkplatz in Waldmichelbach, dem Spessart Weg 2 (SP2) bergauf folgen. Entlang des Waldrandes erreicht man Oberbessenbach. Am Klettersteinbruch des DAV beginnt ein schöner Singletrail. Im Anschluß über das Posthalterkreuz den Bergrücken hoch Richtung R9. Mit dem Wanderweg "Rotes Kreuz 28" erreicht man am Salzbuckel den höchsten Punkt der Route, bevor zwei aufeinander folgende Downhills (ca. 540 m Länge und 940 m Länge) wieder zum Waldrand führen. Achtung! Der erste Downhill endet in ausgewaschener, steiniger Fahrrinne. Über den SP2 geht es dann wieder entlang des Waldrandes zurück nach Waldmichelbach (Einkehrmöglichkeit). Die Strecke besteht aus ca. 60% Naturwege und ca. 40% Schotter/Teer Waldautobahnen. Je nach Kondition sind ein paar kurze Schiebepassagen enthalten. Bei den Downhills ist besonders bei schnellerem Tempo entsprechende Technik erforderlich. Rundkursdauer von mindestens 1h20min bei flotter Fahrt sollte eingeplant werden.
