Landschaftlich sehr schöne Tour über dem Urlaubsparadies Golfo di Orosei. Traumhafte Ausblicke auf den Golf. Fahrt durch die karge und absolut einsame Berglandschaft der Ogliastra, durch gespenstischen Wald, über den "Dinosaurier"rücken der die SS125 tangiert und das fruchtbare Tal des Riu Flumineddu. Fahrtechnik: Grossteils Schotterpiste und Karrenweg; auch etwas Teerstrasse, das meiste davon so gut wie unbefahren. Fahrtechnik: mittel (Moser 3), mit einem kurzen Stück (ca. 500m abwärts) Moser 4-5. Kein Wasser und Proviant unterwegs, in ausreichender Menge mitnehmen. Abstecher in die Gola su Gorrupu (eine der tiefsten Schluchten Europas mit bis zu 500 m hohen Felswänden) mit wenig Zusatzaufwand möglich (zusätzlich ca. 200 hm & 4 km = 1 Stunde Fahrzeit und mindestens 1 Stunde Besichtiung einplanen). Fahrbar bis kurz vor den Eingang der Schlucht). Beschreibung: Nach Überqueren des Riu Flumineddu anstatt rechts flussabwärts einfach links flussaufwärts bis zum Ende des Weges fahren, danach zu Fuß dem Trampepfad zur Eingang der Schlucht folgen (Schloß mitnehmen). Bemerkung: ich bin die Tour vor einiger Zeit inkl. Abstecher in die Schlucht genau so gefahren, hatte zu diesem Zeitpunkt aber noch kein GPS Gerät. Den Track habe ich mit Hilfe von Landkarten rekonstruiert; er ist vermutlich an der ein oder anderen Stellen nicht 100% korrekt. Ich denke die Abweichungen sind minimal und der Weg lässt sich immer gut finden.

Technical requirements: medium (Moser 3), with a short piece (about 500m down) & nbsp; Moser 4-5. No water and food on the go, take in sufficient quantity.
