Start der Tour ist in Schwerte am Bahnhof. Von dort geht es ein kurzes Stück durch die Stadt bevor man auf den Ruhrtalradweg gelangt. diesem wird erstmal eine ganze Weile gefolgt, bis man in Neheim die Möhnemündung erreicht. Entlang dieser geht es zunächst ein Stück flussaufwärts, bevor man abbiegt in den Arnsberger Wald. Über breite Forststraßen und gelegentliche Waldpfade geht es immer mal wieder auf und abwärts durch den Naturpark. Nach der Umrundung von Warstein geht es die B55 entlang zur Einkehr in die JH Meschede . Ausgeruht und nach einem guten Frühstück geht es nun hinunter ins Tal nach Meschede und wieder zur Ruhr. von dort aus geht es dann mehr oder weniger dem Verlauf der Ruhr nach zurück nach Schwerte. Anmerkungen: Der Abschnitt durch den Arnsberger Wald, habe ich überwiegend von der Tour #18286: AusdauerPower Sauerand (Aupketal-Warstein-Jägerpfad) übernommen. Achtung!!! In das Höhenprofil hat sich der Fehlerteufel eingeschlichen. Der Start in Schwerte beginnt bei 85km! Die Strecke ist bis auf ganz wenige Ausnahmen zumindest bei guten Wetter auch mit Trekking oder Cross Rädern fahrbar. Wer fit genug ist, mag die Tour auch an einem Tag schaffen, mir waren die ca. 100km am 1. Tag jedoch genug und da am 2. Tag auch nochmal ca. 85km anstehen macht die Aufteilung auf 2 tage durchaus sinn. Anstelle des Ruhrtalradweges kann man auch den Ruhrhöhenweg fahren.

The tour starts in sword at the station. From there it goes before you get to the RuhrtalRadweg a short distance through the city. this is first followed until they reached the mouth Möhne Neheim in a while. Along this it is first a piece upriver before you turn in the Arnsberg Forest. About wide forest roads and forest paths occasionally it goes every now and then up and down through the park. After circling of Warstein it goes along the B55 to stop at the JH Meschede. Rested after a good breakfast and it is now down to the valley after Meschede and again to watch. from there it goes more or less the shape of the Ruhr to back to sword. Notes: The section through the Arnsberg Forest, I've mainly from the tour # 18286: accepted stamina Power Sauerand (Aupketal-Warstein-Jägerpfad). Danger !!! The typo has crept in the height profile. The start of sword starts at 85km! The route is often with very few exceptions, at least in good weather with trekking or cross wheels. Who is fit enough, the tour may create in one day, I had the 100km on the first day but enough and there on the second day and again pending approx 85km makes the allocation to 2 days quite reasonable. Instead of RuhrtalRadweg you can also take the Ruhr trail.
