Nahezu asphaltfreie Tour die über Forstpisten durch die lichten Kiefernwälder oberhalb des Stausees Presa de la Cueva de las Niñas führt. Außer der Aula de la Naturaleza und einigen wenigen Wochenendhäusern gegen Ende der Tour gibt es keine Bebauung. Die Gegend ist wenig frequentiert und nur selten trifft man auf andere Biker, Wanderer oder Mitarbeiter der Forstverwaltung. Mangels Versorgungsmöglichkeit unterwegs sollte man ausreichend Flüssigkeit und Energienachschub mitnehmen. Aufgrund der Höhe (zwischen 870 und 1500 Hm) liegen die dem Nord-Ost Wind exponierten Teile der Runde im Bereich der Passatwolken. Im Winterhalbjahr sollte man daher die Tour am besten an einem Tag machen, an dem es über den Bergen im Zentrum Gran Kanarias nur geringe Bewölkung gibt, ansonsten kann es in den Wolken ungemütlich kalt und feucht werden. Am Ausgangspunkt gibt es eine kleine Parkbucht für 2-3 Autos. Direkt daneben startet die Rundtour an der mit einer Kette für Autos und Motorräder abgesperrten Forstpiste. Auf den ersten 9 Kilometern bis zur Aula de Naturaleza ist der Weg sehr gut ausgebaut und es gibt nur moderate Steigungen. Die Aula de Naturaleza liegt einsam inmitten der Berge und ist ein selten geöffnetes Schulungszentrum. Ideal um eine Pause einzulegen und die Landschaft zu geniessen. Das erste Stück nach der Aula de la Naturaleza gibt schon mal einen Vorgeschmack auf nächsten 7 Kilometer. Es geht nur noch bergan und stellenweise erschwert Geröll das Vorankommen. Von den Höhenkämmen im mittleren Abschnitt der Tour hat man bei guter Sicht einen tollen Ausblick auf die Bergdörfer im Zentrum der Insel und kann den Pico del Teide auf Teneriffa sehen. Nachdem bei Kilometer 19,4 der höchste Punkt der Tour erreicht ist, geht es zügig bergab und man macht Punkte bei der Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit gut. Das letzte Stück geht es über die 2011 stellenweise neu asphaltierte GC605 zurück zum Ausgangspunkt am Cruz de San Antonio.
