Zur Himmelfahrt 2010 starten wir vom Surfcenter des Weißenstaädter See aus. Auf einem Wanderweg in Richtung Schönlind ist unser erstes Ziel der Rudolstein mit 856m der höchste Punkt unserer Tour. Im letzten Teilstück vor dem Gipfel sind einige Schiebe- und Tragepassage zu überwinden aber dieses sollte bei einen leichten Bike (Fully ist bei dieser Tour die bessere Wahl) kein Problem sein. Die Abfahrt auf der Rückseite ist weniger Steil, aber einige Felsbrocken zwingen zur Vorsicht. Auf dem Fichtelgebirgsradweg angekommen ist der ansruchvollste Teil der Strecke schon geschafft. Natürlich können wir jetzt noch zum Schneeberg oder auch Ochsenkopf fahren, wir entscheiden uns aber für die "einfache" Tour nach Bischofsgrün . Auf dem Kirchplatz bei doch noch recht schönen Wetter haben wir uns das deftige Essen und ein wenig Bier (zum Männertag) schmecken lassen. Die Rückfahrt auf einen idyllischen Waldweg mit Rast in der Weßenstädter Mühle war dann die kürzere und leichtere Fahrt zu unserem Ausgangspunt an den Weißenstäder See.
