Für eine CTF im Ruhrgebiet ist die Streckenführung einzigartig, Abwechslungsreich und nie langweilig. Kletterfixe, Technikfreaks, Downhilljunkies, Tourenliebhaber, Naturfreunde, Wurzeltrailfreunde alle kommen auf ihre Kosten. Bei der Streckenplanung handelte man wieder nach dem Motto: Pfad geht vor Weg, Waldboden vor Schotter, krumm vor gerade und Uphill vor Downhill. Die 2. HaardBiker – CTF setzt hier erneut Maßstäbe und verzichtet komplett auf Asphalt: Der Streckenverlauf geht durch das Waldgebiet „Die Haard“ und verläuft dabei ausschließlich auf Waldwegen und Pfaden bzw. Singletrails, also fast nur auf Naturboden gebunden. Die Singletrails und Bikepfade in der Haard: Ein Traum für die einen, für andere ein Alptraum .......für viele auch eine grüne Hölle, in der man leicht die Orientierung verlieren kann (siehe CTF 2009). Strecke 2 : 46 Km, ca. 920 Hm, das Angebot für ambitionierte Biker.
