Ausgangspunkt der Tour ist der Wasserfallparkplatz im Maisental (450 m). Von hier aus geht es zunächst Richtung Hohenurach. Der Weg führt mit sanfter Steigung zur Kreuzhütte (570 m), von der aus es dann mit knackigem Anstieg zum Hohenurach (690m) weitergeht. Mit einem phantastischen Blick ins Ermstal, Maisental und die Stadt werden wir für unsere Anstrengung belohnt. Wir fahren auf dem gleichen Weg zurück bis zur Kreuzhütte. Von hier aus geht es auf der Ziegelsteige auf breiten Forstwegen hoch auf die Alb. Ein wunderschöner Waldweg, ein Traumpfad für Mountainbiker, führt uns zu den 3 Hanner Felsen, die zum Teil auch von Kletterern genutzt werden und von denen wir immer wieder phantastische Blicke auf die Stadt und die umgebenden Berge genießen können. Ein gut zu fahrender Weg führt uns am Albtrauf entlang nach Sirchingen (729 m), einem Teilort von Bad Urach. Eine kleine Schiebepassage müssen wir am Schorrenfels einlegen. Wir streifen Sirchingen und rollen auf zum Teil asphaltierten Wegen am Albrand entlang weiter Richtung Rietheim, bis wir auf die Grindelsteige treffen, auf der wir ins Seeburger Tal abfahren. Nach ca. 2 km überqueren wir die Erms, und erklimmen über ein idyllisches Tal ein weiteres Mal die Alb. 200 hm sind zurückzulegen, bevor wir nach Wittlingen (690m), einem weiteren Teilort von Bad Urach, kommen. Wir durchqueren diese sanfte Landschaft auf zum Teil geteerten Feldwegen und kommen dann über die Schanz zu unserem 3. Etappenziel, das Michels Käppele. Hier bietet sich nochmals eine ganz besondere Perspektive auf die Stadt und seinen wunderschönen Marktplatz, von dem uns nur noch ein phantastischer Singletrail mit spitzen Kehren trennt. Unsere Tour endet auf dem Marktplatz, wo man mehrere Einkehrmöglichkeiten hat. Bis zum Ausgangspunkt im Maisental (ca. 1,5 km) geht es anschließend entlang der Straße.

Starting point of the tour is the waterfall parking in Maisental (450 m). From here, it is first direction Hohenurach. The trail, with gentle gradient to Kreuzhütte (570 m), from where it then continues with crispy rise to Hohenurach (690m). With a stunning view of the Ermstal, Maisental and the city we are rewarded for our effort. We take the same route back to the Kreuzhütte. From here it goes to the brick walkways on wide forest trails high on the Alb. A beautiful forest trail, a dream path for mountain bikers, leads us to the three Hanner rocks that are partly used by climbers and of which we can enjoy fantastic views of the city and the surrounding mountains and over again. A well-to-propelled road takes us along the Albtrauf after Sirchingen (729 m), a suburb of Bad Urach. A small sliding passage we need to insert the Schorrenfels. We Sirchingen strip and roll on part paved pathways along the Albrand further direction Riet home until we meet the Grindelwald platforms, on which we turn into Seeburger valley. After about 2 km you cross the Erin's, and climb over an idyllic valley once more the Alb. 200 hm are to go before we come to Wittlingen (690m), another suburb of Bad Urach. We pass through this gentle landscape partly tarred roads and then come over the Schanz to our third milestone, the Michels Käppele. & Nbsp; This offers & nbsp; again a very special perspective on the city and its beautiful square, of which we only a fantastic single track with sharp bends separates. Our tour ends at the square, where you have several rest stops. To the point in Maisental (1.5 km) it then proceeds along the road.
