Diese Tour eignet sich für regnerische Herbsttage oder an den Tagen danach, da sie lediglich auf Teerstraßen bzw. schotterigen Waldwegen fährt und keine schlammigen Trails beinhaltet. Start ist in Metzingen-Neuhausen. Danach führt die Tour auf Asphaltwegen gemütlich entlang der Obstbäume hinauf zum Glemser Stausee (Tiefenbachtalsperre) und weiter auf mittlerer Höhe des Grasberges bis man auf den Schwäbische-Alb-Radweg trifft. Nun geht es auf einem breiten Waldweg knapp 250 Hm die Alb hinauf. Oben kommt man dann am oberen Speicherbecken des Pumpspeicherwerks Glems heraus. Die Route folgt nun dem Radweg zum Gestütshof St. Johann und weiter zur 820 Meter hoch gelegenen "Hohen Warte" und nach einem kurzen Abstecher durch das Waldgebiet zurück auf die herrliche Baumallee zu führen. Am Vorwerk Fohlenhof (Gestüt Marbach) geht es rechts vorbei und man gelangt zum Rutschenfels. Die Aussicht und das Panorama sind dort wirklich einzigartig! Nach einer kurzen Rast geht es weiter bis zum Wanderparkplatz an der Schwäbischen Albstrasse und dann auf breit ausgebauten Wanderwegen die Steige hinab, zunächst in Richtung Uracher Wasserfall und dann ins Stadtgebiet von Bad Urach. Die Route folgt ein kurzes Zwischenstück der Hauptstraße und biegt nach dem Magura Werksgelände links hinauf in Richtung Buckleter Kapf. Ab hier folgt man dem Albtrauf vorbei an Dettingen und dann ist man schon wieder bald in Metzingen. Viel Spaß!

This tour is suitable for rainy autumn days or in the days that followed, because it only runs on tarred roads and gravelled forest roads and no muddy trails includes. Home is in Metzingen-Neuhausen. Then the tour on asphalt paths leads comfortably along the fruit trees up to Glemser Reservoir (Tiefenbach dam) and continue until you reach the Swabian Alb-bike trail hits at mid-height of the grass hill. Now it is on a wide forest road just 250 Hm the Alb up. Above you just go out on the upper reservoir of the pumped storage plant Glems. The route now follows the cycle path to Gestütshof St. Johann and further quot to 820 meters above sea &; Hohenwarte & quot; and after a brief detour through the forest back to perform on the beautiful tree-lined avenue. On Vorwerk foal (Marbach) it misses to the right and you get to rock slides. The views and the views there are truly unique! After a short rest we continue walking up to the car park at the Swabian Albstrasse and then on wide maintained trails, the walks down, first in the direction of Urach waterfall and then into the town of Bad Urach. The route follows a brief interlude piece of the main road and turn left after the Magura factory premises up towards Buckleter Kapf. From here you follow the escarpment past Dettingen and then you again soon in Metzingen. Have fun!
