Parken in Serra-di-Scopamene direkt vor der Post. Aufstieg auf Asphalt bis zum Parkplatz am Plateau du Coscione. Ab dort schöner Weg mit leichten technischen Abschnitte. Schweine, Kühe und Schafe alles rennt hier oben rum! Bei den Schäferhunden sollte man ein wenig aufpassen die bellen etwas aggresiv. Super schöne karge Landschaft mit Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge. Die Abfahrt zum Refugio ist am Anfang etwas technischer da der Weg etwas verblockter ist (ca. 500 m). Danach ewig lange Abfahrt auf einer Sand-Asphalt-Beton-Piste. Straße zurück mit genialen Ausblicken auf Berge, Meer und die Maccia. Immer leicht bergab und nur wenig wieder bergauf. Fast kein Verkehr auf der Straße! Lockere Tour die landschaftlich wirklich eines der Highlights in Korsika ist! Forstweg bzw. Trail 30%, davon fahrbar 100%! Tipp: Fahrtrichtung beachten!

Parking in Serra-di-Scopamene directly in front of the post office. Ascent on asphalt to the parking lot on the Plateau du Coscione. From there nice way with slight technical sections. Pigs, cows and sheep all run around up here! The shepherds should pay attention a little bit aggressive barking. Super beautiful barren landscape with views of the surrounding mountains. The descent to the refuge is at the beginning a bit more technical as the route is slightly interlocked (500 m). Then eternally long descent on a sand-asphalt-concrete runway. Road back with brilliant views of mountains, sea and macchia. Always slightly downhill and little uphill again. Almost no traffic on the road! Loose tour the one of the highlights in Corsica is really scenic! Forest road or trail 30%, of which mobile 100%! Tip: Pay attention to the direction of travel!
