Percorso faticoso e tecnicamente impegnativo che percorre i sentieri più panoramici dei Monti Sibillini. Partendo da Castelsantangelo sul Nera si raggiunge in due ore circa Passo Cattivo da dove su uno stretto sentiero sempre sopra i 2000 metri si raggiunge Palazzo Borghese. La sella Tra Palazzo Borghese e il Momte Argentella, chiamata Passo di Sasso Borghese, immette sulla “Strada Imperiale”, una delle tre strade doganali di Castelluccio (così dette perché il loro uso era subordinato al pagamento di un pedaggio) che i pastori percorrevano per immettersi sulle strade di transumanza verso l’Agro Romano. Arrivati a Capanna Ghezzi svoltiamo per il sentiero a destra che percorre il bosco di S.Lorenzo fino alla Fonte. Una breve salita riconduce a Forca di Gualdo da dove ritorniamo a Castelsantangelo passando per il Camping e le sorgenti del Nera.
