Am Gröbner Joch trifft man selten auf Mountainbiker. Das mag am immer steiler werdenden Aufstieg und der langen Schiebestrecke liegen. Für diese Strapazen wird man am Sattel aber mit einem unvergleichlichen Blick ins Karwendel belohnt. Tourbeschreibung Man fährt vom Parkplatz in Richtung Liftstation. Bei den Gaststätten überquert man eine kleine Brücke und kommt zu einem Schotterparkplatz. Von dort führt eine idyllische Forststraße am Unteraubach taleinwärts. Man bleibt nun stets auf diesem bald steiler werdenden Hauptweg und hält sich an die Beschilderung Richtung Gröbenalm, Gröbner Hals. Nach ca. 600 hm erreicht man die Gröbenalm (nicht bewirtschaftet). Ab hier muss das Rad ca. 100 hm den Hügel hinauf zum Gröbner Joch geschoben werden (am Hang rechts beginnt auf halber Strecke ein Weg - siehe Bild). Man überquert den Sattel und folgt dem Wegweiser Richtung Steinölbrennerei auf einem Pfad (kaum fahrbar). Nach kurzem kommt man zu einem Wegweiser und hält sich rechts Richtung Lochalm-Hochleger. Auch hier ist der Pfad nur selten fahrbar. Nach ca. 2 km Schiebestrecke erreicht man die Lochalm und fährt auf wieder guter Forststraße bergab zur Lochalm-Mitterleger und dort rechts weiter. Bei einem Wegedreieck fährt man wieder rechts. Man stößt schließlich bei einer Kehre auf eine größere Forststraße und fährt dort rechts bergauf Richtung Rotwandalmen, Juifen. Bei den Rotwandalmen bleibt man auf dem Forstweg und fährt nun 8 km bergab Richtung Achenwald. Man mündet an einem Parkplatz bei der Bundesstraße und überquert diese zum Hagenwirt. Hinter dem Wirtshaus geht es weiter auf der Via Bavarica Tyrolensis, die man nun stets in Richtung rotem Pfeil bzw. Achenkirch befährt. Nach etwa 2 km bei einem Parkplatz führt der Weg etwas weiter von der Hauptstraße weg und es geht nochmal knapp 100 hm bergauf. Man erreicht schließlich Achenkirch und fährt durch den Ort zurück zum Parkplatz. Rastmöglichkeiten Rotwandlhütte (im Sommer an Wochenenden bewirtschaftet) Hagenwirt Martin´s Bistro in Achenkirch (empfehlenswert) Fazit Schöne Tour mit tollen Ausblicken zum Rofan und ins Karwendelgebirge Anstrengende Querung des Gröbner Joch mit anschließender Schiebestrecke (ca. 2 km aber nicht steil) Gröbner Joch und die Rotwandalmen am Juifen sind ein landschaftliches Highlight Tolle Abfahrten auf besten Forstwegen

On Gröbner yoke one rarely encounters mountain bikers. This may be due to the increasingly steep climb and the long sliding distance. For those hardships you will be rewarded at the saddle with an incomparable view of the Karwendel. Tour Description You drive from the parking lot towards the lift station. In the restaurants you cross a small bridge and come to a gravel parking lot. From there, an idyllic valley forest road on Unteraubach. Now we remain at this soon steeper main path and adheres to the signs Gröbenalm, Gröbner neck. After about 600 hm you reach the Gröbenalm (not managed). From here, the wheel must be about 100 hm the hill pushed for Gröbner yoke (on a slope right begins halfway one way - see picture). Cross the saddle and follow the signs to stone oil distillery on a path (no mobile). After a moment you come to a signpost and keep to the right direction Lochalm-Hochleger. Again, the path is rarely mobile. After about 2 km sliding distance you can reach the Lochalm and goes back to good forest road downhill to Lochalm-Mitterleger and there right on. In a way junction, you turn right again. We finally met at a hairpin bend on a larger forest road and driving there right uphill direction Croda Rossa mountain pastures, Juifen. In the Croda Rossa mountain pastures to stay in the forest and now travels 8 km downhill direction Achenwald. It leads to a parking lot at the main road and cross it to Hagen host. Behind the inn, continue on Via Bavarica Tyrolensis that you now always is traveling in the direction of red arrow and Achenkirch. After about 2 km at a parking lot the trail a little further from the main road and away it goes about 100 hm again uphill. We finally reached Achenkirch and runs through the village back to the parking lot. Rest facilities Rotwandlhütte (open during summer weekends) Hagen host Martin & acute s Bistro in Achenkirch (recommended) Conclusion Nice tour with great views to the Rofan and the Karwendel Mountains Strenuous crossing the Gröbner yoke with subsequent sliding distance (2 km but not steep) Gröbner yoke and the Croda Rossa mountain pastures at the Juifen are a scenic highlight Great descents on best forest trails & nbsp;
