Start und Ziel ist die Ortsmitte von Goldkronach. Es geht auf der Staatsstrasse nach Goldmühl weiter über die B 303 hoch an der linken Flanke des Maintales nach Wülfersreuth. Von dort über die hohe Heide zum Schneeberg, das sind bei stetiger Steigung ca. 600 hm. vom Schneeberg führt der H-Weg (anspruchsvoller Trail) über den Nußhardt zum Seehaus (Einkehrmöglichkeit). Weiter geht es hinab ins Maintal und auf der anderen Seite hinauf zum Ochsenkopfgipfel. Wer mag, und das entsprechende Bike hat kann die Freeridestrecke hinab fahren. Doch auch auf der gespeicherten Route ist ein Trail der es in sich hat, der "Winterwanderweg". ab da geht es auf Forstwegen zurück nach Goldkronach.
