Für diese Tour sollte man sich einen ganzen Tag nehmen. Start ist in Schaftlach, in Bahnhofsnähe. Über welliges Wiesengelände geht es ins Tegernseer Tal, westlich des Sees auf Schotter- und Asphaltwegen bis zur Mautstraße in die Valepp. Straßen mit Verkehr werden fast nicht benutzt, und wenn, dann in Wohngebieten von Wiessee und Rottach-Egern. Die asphaltierte Straße in die Valepp ist wenig befahren und hier schon häufig beschrieben. Auf Schotter weiter nach einem Anstieg hinab zur Erzherzog-Johann-Klause und weiter hinab bis rechts die "Guffertumfahrung" über eine Brücke abgeht. Jetzt erfolgt eine Auffahrt von über 600 Höhenmetern auf Schotter durch eine interessante, meist offene Landschaft. Bei meiner Befahrung am 24.7.08 war dieser Teil bis zur Gufferthütte sehr einsam. Nach Einkehr hier (ca. halbe Strecke) weit hinab ins wasserreiche Klammbachtal nach Achenwald. Dort wird sich auf dem Fernradweg Bayern-Tirol eingefädelt und weiter zum Sylvensteinsee getrieben. Man muss kurz nach verlassen des Fernradweges die Verkehrsstraße nutzen, bis man am Damm den kühlen Fahrradtunnel nutzen kann. Auf dem Radweg teils an der Straße, teils im Überschwemmungsbereich der Isar an Lenggries vorbei über Reichersbeuern auf Wald- und Wiesenwegen zurüch nach Schaftlach. Einkehr in Forsthaus Valepp, Erzherzog-Johann-Klause (Mo Ruhetag), Gufferthütte, dann immer wieder Biergärten in greifbarer Nähe. Genug Quellen um sich mit Wasser zu versorgen. Baden im Tegernsee und Sylvensteinsee zu empfehlen, in der Isar geht's kurz auch mal! Die Tour ist mit einem alten 60C aufgenommen, daher ist die Spur etwas wackelig!

For this tour you should take a whole day. Home is in Schaftlach, near the train station.
