Am 14 Juli 2004, genau 157 Jahre nach der Ausgabe der Baugenehmigung an Giacomo Cis, Ideator und Planer der Verbindungsstraße zwischen Riva del Garda und dem Ledro Tal, wurde die ehemalige Ponalestraße als Weg für Fußgänger und Radfahrer wiedereröffnet.
