Allgemeines: Als ehemaliger Hildesheimer freue ich mich, endlich wieder mit dem Fahrrad in meiner alten Heimat unterwegs zu sein. Wobei ich als jetziger „Flachländer“ bei der Auffahrt zum Kamm im Hildesheimer Wald ganz schön pumpen musste. Bin die Tour im Sommer gefahren. Klasse und leider zu kurz sind die Abfahrt vom Hi'Heimer Aussichtsturm hinunter zum Boschwerk und der Weg von der Jugendherberge zum Wasserbehälter am Rottsberg. Unbefestigte Wege/Naturboden: 75%, Asphalt: 25% Beschreibung: Start der Tour ist im Bockfeld bei der Brücke über die B1. Über den Gallberg geht es auf dem unbefestigten Feldweg Richtung Sorsum. An der Gasstation führt ein Weg links hoch zum Wald. Dort geht es hinauf. Im Wald führt zunächst ein Pfad oderhalb der Diakonischen Werke entlang. Weiter geht es auf einem Forstweg im Wald mehr oder weniger dicht am Waldrand entlang an Sorsum vorbei. Dann den Feldweg rechts hinunter zur Sorsumer Mühle nicht verpassen. Bergab geht’s bis zur alten Sorsumer Hauptstraße. Ab jetzt wieder auf Asphalt an der Antoniuskapelle vorbei über die L460 hinweg hinauf zum ehemaligen Ausflugslokal Ahlborns Waldheim. Hier startet ab jetzt wieder unbefestigt der Weg hoch zum Kammweg im Hildesheimer Wald. Achtung: nicht den Weg komplett hochfahren, sondern etwa auf halber Höhe rechts abzweigen, siehe GPS-Track. Auf dem Kamm angekommen geht’s links auf dem Kammweg weiter in ständigem Auf und Ab und nach knapp 4,5 km wird der Hi'Heimer Aussichtsturm erreicht. Nun ernten wir die Früchte unserer „Arbeit“ und entspannen uns bei der Abfahrt auf dem Single-Trail zum Boschwerk herunter im Hildesheimer Wald. Weiter geht’s auf Asphalt auf dem Radweg entlang zur Robert-Bosch-Straße und weiter hinauf zum Sportplatz am Klingenberg. Dort die Robert-Bosch-Straße überqueren und durch den Wald oberhalb des Trockenen Kamps entlang fahren, siehe GPS-Track. Wir erreichen schließlich den Abschiedswald am Rottsberg und fahren weiter zur Jugendherberge. An der Jugendherberge vorbei die Treppe hinunterfahren. Der Pfad hin zum Wasserbehälter am Rottsberg ist im Sommer bis auf Lenkerbreite zugewachsen. Hier bitte Rücksicht auf Spaziergänger nehmen. Vom Wasserbehälter auf der asphaltierten Straße hinunter zurück ins Bockfeld. Aufgrund der schlechten Straßenoberfläche bin ich unten am Spielplatz rechts abgebogen und habe dort den Weg zurück durchs Wohngebiet zur B1-Brücke genommen. Einige MTBler sind hier im Hi'Heimer Raum auf gps-tour aktiv, habe ich gesehen. Ich hoffe ich kann im nächsten Jahr hier mal ein paar Touren nachfahren. General: As a former Hildesheimer I am happy to be traveling by bicycle in my old home at last. Although I as of present & bdquo; Flatlands & ldquo; on the way up to the ridge in the Hildesheim Forest had pretty pumps. Bin the tour went in the summer. Class and unfortunately too short, the departure from Hi'Heimer observation tower down to the Bosch plant and the road from the hostel to the water tank on Rottsberg. Unpaved roads / natural soil: 75%, Asphalt: 25% Description: The tour starts in Bockfeld at the bridge over the B1. About the Gallberg it goes on unpaved dirt road towards Sorsum. At the gas station a road leads left up to the forest. There it goes up. In the first forest is a path or half the Diakonischen works along. It continues along a forest in the forest more or less close to the forest edge along Sorsum over. Then the dirt road not miss right down to Sorsumer mill. Downhill & rsquo s to the old Sorsumer main road. Now back to asphalt at the Anthony Chapel over over the L460 of time up to the former Ausflugslokal Ahlborns Waldheim. Here starts again from now on the unpaved road up to the ridge trail in the Hildesheim Forest. Caution: Do not drive up the road completely, but branch off about halfway up on the right, see GPS track. Once on the ridge it & rsquo s left on the ridge trail continues in constant ups and downs and by less than 4.5 km of Hi'Heimer observation tower is reached. Now we are reaping the fruits of our & bdquo; work & ldquo; and relax at the exit on the single trail down to the Bosch plant in Hildesheim Forest. Goes on & rsquo s on asphalt on the bike path along the Robert-Bosch-Strasse and continue up to the sports field at Klingenberg. There, the Robert-Bosch-Strasse crossing and drive through the forest above the dry Kamps along, see GPS track. We finally reach the farewell forest on Rottsberg and continue to the hostel. Go down the stairs past the youth hostel. The path down to the water tank on Rottsberg is overgrown in summer up to handlebar width. Here regardless of walkers take. From the water tank on the paved road back down into Bockfeld. Due to the poor road surface I turned down at the playground right there and have withdrawn their way through the residential area to the B1-bridge. Some mountain bikers are active here in Hi'Heimer space on gps-tour, I've seen. I hope I can next year here's descendants a few tours. Refreshments: Hildesheimer lookout tower
