Die Tour beginnt bei einem Parkplatz im südlichen Kochel a. See. Von dort geht es auf dem Bordstein bzw. Fahrradweg etwa einen Kilometer entlang, bis man an den Abzweig zum Wasserkraftwerk kommt. Interessierte können von hier ca. 1,5 km der Straße folgen und sich hier kostenlos über den Aufbau informieren. Ich selbst fand es sehr interessant, da ich so etwas zuvor noch nicht gesehen hatte. Hat man sich das E-Werk angeschaut (oder auch nicht), geht es zurück an den in der Karte beschriebenen Abzweig. Von dort geht es auf einen Schotterweg weiter. Diesen muss man von nun an durchgehend folgen um auf den Herzogstand zu gelangen. Unterwegs kommt man an einer Schranke vorbei, die bei mir geschlossen war. Meines Erachtens soll diese Kraftfahrzeuge abhalten den Weg zu folgen. Darum: einfach unten durch! Nach ca. 200 Höhenmetern kann man sich rechts halten um das Wasserschloss des Kraftwerks zu sehen. Ist man an dem Punkt angekommen, an dem die Stromleitung den Weg kreuzt, kann man eine herrliche Aussicht genießen. Der Weg ist teilweise ziemlich steil so, dass man evtl. sogar ein bisschen schieben muss (jedoch nichts Schlimmes). Auf 1250 Höhenmetern gibt es die Möglichkeit seine Trinkflasche nachzufüllen – hier ist ein kleiner Brunnen. Ist man an dem Berggasthof Herzogstand angekommen kann besteht die Möglichkeit sich zu stärken. Lohnenswert ist es den Fußweg zum Gipfel zu bestreiten (dauert ca. 15 bis 30 Minuten – einfach). Von hier aus kann man an guten Tagen bis München schauen und sogar den Starnberger See sehen. Und das Alpenpanorama ist natürlich ein Traum für jeden Gipfelstürmer. Spaß: Durch die Landschaft und das Umfeld gibt es viel zu sehen. Der Weg ist jedoch relativ anspruchslos. Daher drei Sterne. Landschaft: Das Bergpanorama und die Seen sind überwältigend. Schöner ist es höchstens an der Cote d‘Azure oder am Matterhorn. Das ergibt (mindestens) vier Sterne. Kondition: Auch hier gebe ich vier Sterne, da es direkt von ganz unten (Kochel am See) los geht und es zum Teil sehr steile und anspruchsvolle Wege zu meistern gilt. Technik: Der Weg verdient eigentlich nur einen Stern, da er zu großen Teilen auf Schooterwegen führt und das ist für ein Mountainbike ziemlich anspruchslos. Jedoch gibt es einige wenige Ausnahmen und ein paar steile Abschnitte => zwei Sterne.

The tour starts at the car park in the southern Kochel a. Lake. From there on the curb or bicycle along about one kilometer until you reach the turnoff to the hydroelectric power plant. Those interested can follow from here approximately 1.5 km of the road and check here for free on the structure. I myself found it very interesting because I had never seen before something like that. If you look at the E-Werk viewed (or not), it goes back to the branch described in the map. From there it goes to a dirt road. This is necessary to continuously follow from now on to go to the Duke stand. On the way you pass a barrier, which was closed to me. My opinion is to follow the way these cars hold. Wherefore just below by! After about 200 meters above sea level you can keep right to see the water tower of the power plant. If you arrived at the point where the power line crosses the road, you can enjoy a magnificent view. The path is partly quite steep so that you might even need a little push (but nothing bad). At 1250 meters above sea level, it is possible to refill his water bottle & ndash; here is a small fountain. If you can arrived at the mountain inn Herzogstandbahn is possible to strengthen themselves. Rewarding it is to deny the footpath to the summit (takes 15 to 30 minutes & ndash; easy). From here you can look on a good day to Munich, and even see Lake Starnberg. And the Alps is of course a dream for any climbers. Fun: Through the countryside and the environment, there is much to see. However, the path is relatively undemanding. Therefore, three stars. Landscape: the mountains and the lakes are overwhelming. Beautiful it is maximum at the Cote d & lsquo; Azure or the Matterhorn. The results in (at least) four stars. Condition: Again, I give four stars because it from the very bottom you go directly (Kochel am See) and it applies to master some very steep and challenging ways. Technology: The only really deserves one star, because it leads to a great extent on Schooterwegen and that is pretty undemanding for a mountain bike. However, there are a few exceptions and some steep sections = & gt; two stars.
