Durch Altbach hindurch sammelt man die ersten Höhenmeter mit Blick auf das Neckartal und Plochingen. Anschließend geht es auf den Schurwald hinauf und auf schönem Trail bis zum Jägerhaus. Dann entlang des Segelflugplatzes und hinunter bis zur Mülldeponie. Dort weiter auf dem Kappelberg-Trail bis zum Katzenkopf (Einstieg an der Straße etwas versteckt). Evtl. weiter über Kernen bis zum Kappelberg wie auf vielen anderen Routen schon beschrieben. Der Kappelberg-Trail ist in 2013 teilweise sehr feucht und morastig. Wer Dreck mag ist hier und auch bei der Rückrunde richtig ;-) Zurück dann vom Jägerhaus am Waldheim vorbei hinab nach Kimmichsweiler auf Waldweg (unten bei der Abfahrt grober Schotter, anschließend asphaltiert). Quer durch den kleinen Ortsteil und bei herrlich Aussicht einen Wiesenweg hinab. Kurzes Stück auf der Straße bergab, anschließend scharf links und übers Teufelsbrückle. Jetzt geht es immer an der Waldgrenze entlang eine wenig befahrenen Trail schräg bergab: teilweise tiefe Rinnen, Bäche, Morast, kurzzeitig auch eingewachsener Dschungel je nach Jahreszeit. Zwischendurch schöner Talblick. Anschließend wieder geteert durch Altbach an die S-Bahn.

By Altbach through you collect the first level meters with views of the Neckar Valley and Plochingen. Then it goes up and on a nice trail to the hunting lodge on the virgin forest. Then along the airfield and down to the landfill. Continue on the Kappelberg-Trail (hidden entrance on the road a bit) to the cat's head. Possibly. further been described above cores to Kappelberg as on many other routes. The Kappelberg trail is sometimes very wet and boggy in 2013. If you like dirt is right here and also in the second round;-) Back then the hunter house Waldheim passed down to Kimmichsweiler on forest road (down on the descent of coarse gravel, then paved). Across the small district and gorgeous views of a meadow down. Short distance on the road downhill, then a sharp left and over the devil Brückle. Now it always goes to the tree line along a little-traveled trail diagonally downhill: partially deep gullies, streams, mud, briefly also ingrown jungle depending on the season. In between beautiful valley views. Then again tarred by Altbach on the S-Bahn.
