Es geht los auf der Karthause, an der Schwedenschanze vorbei Richtung Stadtwald. Nach ca. 2 KM wird die Hunsrückhöhenstrasse gequert und es geht zum Treffpunkt "Lichte Eiche". Von hier langsam bergauf, die bekannte "Hasenbergrunde" vom KM 6 bis KM 3 auf den Gipfel, also umgekehrt. Am Gipfel geht's rechts ziemlich steil bergab bis fast zum Schloss Stolzenfels, dann wieder rauf über den Kaleschenweg zum Schüllerhof. Jetzt ist man schon 'mal richtig warm :-) Von hier über den Pastorenpfad bis zum Ende des Koblenzer Stadtwaldes auf der Höhe von Waldesch. Dann weiter bis Hünenfeld, am E-Werk vorbei in den Bopparder Stadtwald. Denkt daran das Tor wieder zu schließen, nicht, dass die Wildschweine in der folgenden Nacht die Felder verwüsten. Jetzt geht's ca. 4 Kilometer locker bergab durch den Bopparder Stadtwald bis zum Vierseenblick. Vorher kann man die Downhillstrecke der Mountainbiker mit einigen Schikanen bestaunen. Von der Terasse des Vierseenblick hat man einen gigantischen Blick auf eine enge Rheinschleife. Noch schöner ist die Aussicht ein Stück weiter, am Gedeonseck. Hier kann mam im Sommer draußen sitzen und sich für den Rückweg stärken. Zurück geht's dann durch den Bopparder Hamm ( Weinberge ) am Hotel Jakobsberg vorbei. Hier wird's nochmal steil und anstregend. Durch den Rhenser Stadtwald geht's dann wieder Richtung Koblenz. Am Merkurtempel und der Augustahöhe vorbei mit beeindruckendem Rheinpanorama runter Richtung Lichte Eiche und dann zurück zur Karthause. Einige technische Anmerkungen: Die 1.391 HM die das Programm hier errechnet scheinen mir etwas hoch gegriffen. Mein Edge hat ca. 1200 HM gemessen. Historisches: Pastorenpfad heißt der Weg zwischen Stolzenfels-Kapellen und Waldesch weil diese beiden Orte früher eine Kirchengemeinde bildeten und der Pfarrer sonntags von Waldesch runter nach Kapellen musste um dort den Gottesdienst zu halten. Es ist davon auszugehen, dass er kein Mountainbike hatte und er deshalb entweder zu Fuss oder zu Pferd unterwegs war. Der Kaleschenweg heißt so, weil der Schlossherr von Stolzenfels sich neue Kutschengefährte anschaffte die es notwendig machten, einen neuen, breiteren Weg von der Stolzenfels Richtung Römer- und Keltenstraße zu bauen. It starts on the kart home, at Sweden hill past the city forest. After about 2 KM the Hunsrückhöhenstrasse is crossed and it goes to the meeting place "light oak". From here slowly uphill, the well-known "hares Mountain Round" by KM 6 to 3 KM to the summit, so vice versa. At the summit, you go right rather steep downhill almost to the castle Pride Rock, then up again over the Kaleschenweg for Schüllerhof. Now it is already 'times really warm:-) From here on the Pastor path to the end of the Koblenz city forest on the amount of wood ash. Then go to giant field, the E-Werk in the past Boppard town forest. Remember to close the gate again, not that the wild boar ravaging the following night in the fields. Now it's about 4 km easy downhill through the forest to the town of Boppard Vierseenblick. Before you can marvel at the downhill stretch of mountain bikers with some harassment. From the terrace of the Vierseenblick you have a stunning view over the Rhine close loop. Even more beautiful the view is a little further on Gedeonseck. Here mam can sit outside in the summer and strengthen the back. Back then you go through the Boppard Hamm (vineyards) at the Hotel Jakob mountain pass. Here's is again steep and exhausting. By Rhenser urban forest it's off again towards Koblenz. At the Temple of Mercury and the Augusta height over down with an impressive panorama of the Rhine towards the light oak and then back to the Charterhouse. Some technical notes: The 1391 HM seem the program calculates here something high. My Edge has measured about 1200 HM. Historical: Pastor path is the path between pride rock chapels and forest Esch because these two places earlier formed a church and the pastor of Forest Esch down to chapels had Sundays there to keep the service. It is assumed that he had no mountain bike and he was therefore either on foot or on horseback. The Kaleschenweg is so named because the lord of the manor of pride rock, new coach companion anschaffte which made it necessary to build a new, wider path of the pride rock direction Romans and Celts road.
