Vertrek vanuit Maastricht via Bemelen - Cadier en Keer, achterlangs 't Amerikaans Kerkhof te Margraten - Euverem - Partij-Wittem - richting Vijlenerbosch - tussenstop (lunch) Berghut 't Hijgend Hert te Vijlen. Verder richting Epen (voornamelijk asfalt, pas bij Bovenste Bosch onverhard) - Heijenrath - Gulpen richting Eyserbosch - Fromberg (heuvel uit Amstel Gold Race) richting Valkenburg a/d Geul terug naar Maastricht. Laatste gedeelte vanaf Fromberg is voor 95% asfalt. Je kan uiteraard alternatief pakken om via Oud-Valkenburg vlakbij kerk linksaf te slaan richting bos om verder via Sibbe - en Bemelen in Maastricht uit te komen. Als je een redelijke conditie hebt, is deze tocht gemakkelijk uit te fietsen.
Tussenstop: boscafe 't Hijgend Hert. Als 't druk is, is 't plaatsen van je (dure) fiets wel een probleem.In Epen zelf zijn ook nog voldoende terrassen voor een korte tussenstop.Gulpen kun je ook nog stoppen - o.a. Specialized fietsenzaak (Jef Abels).
Departure from Maastricht through Bemelen - Cadier en Keer, behind 't American Cemetery in Margraten - Euverem - Party-Wittem - direction Vijlener Bosch - stop (lunch) hut' t Hert Panting for Files. Continue towards Epen (mostly asphalt, only at Upper Bosch unpaved) - Heijenrath - Gulpen direction Eyserbosch - Fromberg (hill from Amstel Gold Race) towards Valkenburg a / d Geul back to Maastricht. Last part from Fromberg is 95% asphalt. You can of course grab alternative to turn left near the church through Oud-Valkenburg direction forest to continue through Sibbe - to arrive in Maastricht and Bemelen. If you have a reasonable condition, this trip is to ride out easily.
Stopover: Boscafé 't Hert Panting. If it's busy, it 's place of your (expensive) bicycle or a probleem.In Epen themselves are also plenty of terraces for a short tussenstop.Gulpen you can also stop - among others Specialized bike shop (Jef Abels).
