Trail Description


Giro di circa 30 Km.Percorso che prende inizio da Sassetta, si sale su per via del Poggio, proseguiamo la strada sterrata, scavalchiamo la catena e dopo circa 50m. ci immettiamo sulla detra in un sentiero che ci porta in un campo chiamato in una località chiamata ''Favaio''; traversiamo il campo e raggiungiamo la strada che ci porta ad un'incrocio che si immette si una strada inghiaiata, giriamo a sinistra e saliamo fino ad un bivio chiamato ''il Crociale'', giriamo a sinistra e saliamo fino a ''Capo di Monte'' proseguiamo superando la casa del ''Pian dei Brizzi'', proseguiamo a dritto fino a che sulla destra non troviamo un rifugio dei cacciatori denominata ''la capanna del Tani'', giriamo a destra e proseguiamo dritto sempre su comoda carreccia fino a ce non troviamo uno spiazzo, facciamo attenzione a dritto e ci immetiamo in un sentiero con fondo in prevalenza ciottolato, proseguiamo fino a Romitorio (sa vede scritta su una roccia a sinistra una 'R' e in alto un vacchio rudere)  dove possiamo raggiungere il rudere sulla sommità che ci regala una vista a 360° veramente indimenticabile sia sul mare con l' isola d' Elba, che sulle colline circostanti. Proseguiamo scendendo verso la valle dele Rozze in un sentiero molto tecnico dove chi non è veramente molto esperto consigliamo in alcuni punti di scendere dalla bici, fino a trovare la strada carrabile, giriamo a sinistra, proseguiamo fino a trovare un'incrocio con sulla destra un'altro rifugio dei dacciatori, proseguiamo a destra e saliamo fino a trovare la stada asfaltata, girimo a sinistra e passiamo ip paese di san Carlo, dopo qualche centinaio di metri giriamo a sinistra immettendoci in un sentiero sterrato, proseguiamo fino a trovare una strada bianca, giriamo a sinistra fino a raggiungere un'antico scavo, a questo punto giriamo a destra lungo delle corde e spingiamo la bici per una cinquantina di metri e saliamo fino alla Rocca di S.
