Escursione interessante fino al famoso santuario di Mariano. Questo Santuario è visibile da molti punti della zona proprio per la sua posizione sommitale. L'inizio della gita è abbastanza tranquilla, infatti arriveremo al bel borgo di Pellegrino per strada asfaltata. Poi saliremo per la rinomata "borotalco" fin sotto al Santuario. Con uno stupendo giro passeremo dietro alla chiesa fra boschi stupendi e prati accattivanti fino a raggiungere la strada della costa. Ci manterremo in quota su asfalto prima di attaccare la breve ma dura salita al monte Kanate. Escursione a due facce. La prima parte tranquilla e scorrevole. L'ultima parte dura in salita e impegnativa in discesa lungo il canalone del monte Kanate. 23 km con 920 m di dislivello davvero interessanti.
interesting excursion to the famous Marian shrine. This shrine is visible from many parts of the area because its summit location. The beginning of the trip is fairly quiet, in fact we come to the beautiful village of Pellegrino for paved road. Then we go up to the famous "baby powder" right up to the Sanctuary. With a wonderful tour we will pass behind the church among beautiful woods and meadows appealing until you reach the coast road. We will keep at high altitude on tarmac before attacking the short but tough climb to Mount Kanate. Double-sided excursion. The first part quiet and smooth. The last gully along the hard part in challenging uphill and downhill of Mount Kanate. 23 km with 920 m vertical drop of really interesting.
