Von Merklingen im Würmtal nach Möttlingen über den ersten heftigen Anstieg.Vorbei an Möttlingen durch Wald und Wiesen hinab nach Bad Liebenzell. Die andere Talseite durch das Kollbachtal hinauf.Der Weg führt dann meist an Hangwegen mit teilweise schönen Aussichtspunkten entlang u.a. wird die Burg Liebenzell passiert. Wieder hinab ins Nagoldtal. Am Monbachtal kann man eine kleine Rast einlegen. Beim Anstieg Richtung Monakam empfiehlt es sich, beim 1. Wegpunkt rechts zu bleiben und alternativ nach Monakam zu gelangen, da auf dem Originaltrek weiter oben der Weg über rund 2 KM derzeit (Mai 2013) saniert wird und in einem sehr schlechten Zustand ist(oben angelangt erfährt mann dann auch, dass er für Radfaher und Fußgänger zur Zeit gesperrt ist). Nach Münklingen kann man am 2. Wegpunkt ebenfalls rechts fahren, damit man unten im Würmtal nicht ca. 1,5 KM auf der Straße fahren muss.
