Die schöne Rundtour verläuft auf wechselnden Untergründen über die Höhenzüge des Kaiserstuhls und zeigt das ganze Spektrum das der Kaiserstuhl zu bieten hat. Unterwegs bieten sich immer wieder schöne Ausblicke.Gewürzt wird das Ganze durch kurze Anstiege, die in Kombination mit dem ständigen Auf und Ab konditionell einiges abverlangen. Start in Gottenheim - Fahrt Richtung Bötzingen - Anstieg entlang der Wegpunkte Gagenhart, Hasenbeinmatte und Herrenweg zum Adlerhorstsattel - dem Höhenkamm folgend bis zum WP Gierstein - steile Abfahrt zur Katzensteinbuckhütte - danach in stetem Auf und Ab entlang der Wegpunkte, Kreuzenbuck, Bitzenberg, Schneckenberg und Niederrotweil nach Bischoffingen - Anstieg über die Eckwaldhütte zum Aussichtspunkt Mondhalde - nun wieder dem Höhenkamm folgend über Baßgeigenhütte, Schelinger Alm, Katharinenkapelle, Bahlinger Eck, Badberg, Vogelsangpass zum Aussichtspunkt Hohrainbuckhütte oberhalb von Bötzingen - Abfahrt nach Bötzingen - auf Radwegen zurück nach Gottenheim.
