Bergauf und bergab durch das Gutach-Wutach-Haslachschluchtendreieck: Von Kappel geht es zügig runter Richtung Zipfelsäge und mit Schwung über die Gutach. Jetzt kurbeln wir uns über knackig steile Anstiege und Waldwegserpentinen durch den Gatterwald hinauf zum gut versteckten Startpunkt eines extrem schmalen Berghangpfades. Diesen Pfad geht es jetzt mit voller Konzentration und maximalem Adrenalinpegel hinunter bis zu einem romantisch gelegenem alten Gleiswärterhäuschen. Hier wird der Weg wieder breiter, bleibt aber spannend. Unten angekommen überqueren wir wieder die Gutach und halten uns dann links. Oberhalb der Haslach zieht sich der Waldweg durch die Schlucht bis Lenzkirch in Sicht kommt, dazwischen immer wieder spaßige Schlenker auf parallel zum Hauptweg verlaufenden Pfaden. Rechts zieht sich dann der Weg aus dem Tal Richtung Kappel hinauf. Nach einem kurzen Waldabschnitt geht es kurz bergab dann wieder mit heftiger Steigung ein schweißtreibendes Stück bergauf und wir sind am Ziel der sportlichen Ausfahrt.
Uphill and downhill through the Gutach-Wutach-Haslach gorge triangle: From Kappel it goes rapidly down towards Zipfelsäge and with momentum on the Gutach. Now we boost us up on crisp steep climbs and forest trail switchbacks through the forest to the gate well hidden starting point of an extremely narrow mountainside path. This path is leading now with full concentration and maximum adrenaline level down to a romantic gelegenem old track keeper's house. Here the path widens again, but remains exciting. Once at the bottom we cross the Gutach again and keep us on the left. Above the Haslach, the forest trail runs through the gorge to Lenzkirch comes into view, alternating with fun dangling on in parallel with the main path running paths. Right then contracts the way up from the valley towards Kappel. After a short forest section deals briefly downhill again with severe slope in a very sweaty uphill and we are on target sporting exit.
