Rund um den Monte Sacro Weitläufige Bike-Tour, optional mit MTB oder auch Staßen- bzw. Rennrad möglich. Es geht durchs Val di Tesoro hoch zum Kiosk, MTB´s biegen hier links ab (wie aufgezeichnet) zum Lago di Umbra zum sehr schönen See nach Falascone durch den bemoosten Steinwald. Mit schmaleren Reifen bleibt man auf der Teerstraße und biegt dann links ab Richtung Monte San Angelo die Wege treffen sich kurz danach wieder. Man folgt der Teerstraße bis zum Abzweig des Pilgerweges. Von dort führt uns das schmale Teersträßchen bis rund um den Monte Sacro um in einer großen Schleife auf die SS89 zu führen. Zunächst durchfahren wir eine almenartige Gegend, mit teils knackigen Anstiegen, dabei werden wir mit herrlichen Adria-Ausblicken, Richtung Mattinata verwöhnt. Wir passieren den Einstieg des Wanderwegs, der zum Monte Sacro führt, man benötigt ca. 45 Min um den Gipfel mit der imposanten Kloster-Ruine (Fotos siehe MTB- Tour zum Monte Sacro) zu erreichen. Nachdem wir Mattinata-seitig unterhalb des Passes auf die SS89 treffen passieren wir bei mäßiger Steigung die Passhöhe. Bei der Abfahrt kann man noch einen Blick auf die uralte Römerbrücke werfen (siehe POI). Natürlich gibt es ab der SS89 eine ganze Reihe möglicher Alternativen, aber es ist auch schön durch den Foresta wiedermal die Haine, mit den uralten knorrigen Olivenbäume zu passieren. Noch ein Abstecher durch die Molinella Bucht, ein Cappuccino im Mezzaluna ist fast Pflicht. Danach geht es mit MTB den schönen Felsen-Weg, teils auf Trail zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. Die schmalbereiften Räder folgen einfach der Teerstraße zum Ausgangspunkt.

Around the Monte Sacro Extensive bike tour, optionally available with MTB or road bike or Staßen-. It goes through the Val di Tesoro up to the kiosk, MTB & acute s turn left here starting (as recorded) to Lago di Umbra to a very nice lake to Falascone by the mossy stone forest. With narrower tires stay on the paved road and then turn left towards Monte San Angelo paths meet again shortly after. Follow the paved road to the junction of the pilgrimage. From there leads us to the narrow Teersträßchen around the Sacro Monte to lead in a big bow at the SS89. First, we go through a almen-like area, with some steep ascents here we are with the beautiful Adriatic Sea-views, spoiled direction Mattinata. We pass the entrance of the trail that leads to Monte Sacro, it takes approximately 45 minutes to the summit with the imposing monastery ruin (see photos MTB tour to Monte Sacro) to reach. After we meet Mattinata-side below the pass on the SS89 we cross the pass at a moderate slope. In the race you can have a look at the ancient Roman bridge throw (see POI). Of course there are from the SS89 a number of possible alternatives, but it is also nice by the Foresta wiedermal the groves to happen to the ancient gnarled olive trees. Another trip through the Molin Ella Bay, a cappuccino at Mezzaluna is almost mandatory. Then it goes with the beautiful rocks MTB-way, partly on trail back to your starting point. The narrow-tyred wheels simply follow the paved road to the starting point.
