Da San Lazzaro, prendere per Pizzocalvo giunti ad un trivio, imboccare la strada : di destra su Via Montebello, salendo leggermente. Dopo circa 700 metri, la strada si divide, prendere la strada sterrata di sinistra costeggiando il Torrente Idice, dopo circa 5 Km sulla sinistra, imboccare il ponte che porta a Mercatale. Da qui prendere a destra sulla strada provinciale per circa 5 km fino a raggiunge sulla sinistra, Via Pizzano., che dopo qualche chilometro diventa via Sant’Anna, continuare sulla via principale in direzione dell’Oratorio di S. Anna, superarlo, fino ad arrivare ad un bivio. Prendere a sinistra la strada sterrata Via Collina per circa 1,7 km fino ad arrivare ad una strada asfaltata, girare a sinistra e dopo qualche centinaio di metri si arriva al Ristorante Ca’ del Vento, seguire la strada principale per circa 2 km, e sulla destra, vi troverete un Monumento ai Caduti, superarlo, fino ad arrivare ad una strada sterrata sulla destra identificabile per il piccolo tabernacolo posto al suo imbocco (segnavia sentiero n. 801). Questa strada è parecchio sconnessa con grandi ondulazioni. Dopo 3,4 km, lasciare la via principale e prendere un sentiero non ben tracciato. Questa zona di calanchi si supera tenendosi sul sentiero di crinale, una ripida salita porta alla strada asfaltata che, a destra, porta a Settefonti. Dopo aver superato la chiesa che troviamo a destra, imboccare sulla sinistra Via del Piastrino per 1,6 km. Giunti ad un bivio, voltare a destra su una strada asfaltata, e subito dopo girare a sinistra, in discesa, arrivando alle case di Ciagnano. Proseguire sempre dritto anche quando termina l’asfalto, immettendosi su un sentiero che entra nel bosco. Usciti dal bosco si trascura un sentiero segnato sulla sinistra continuando sulla mulattiera principale che subito si porta sul crinale. Tenendosi sempre sulla via di crinale, si giunge davanti al cancello di un’area picnic. Qui si segue la strada sterrata, giungendo alla via asfaltata che porta alla statale Emilia e da qui a San Lazzaro.
From San Lazzaro, take to Pizzocalvo reached a crossroads, take the road: right on Via Montebello, rising slightly. Turn left on the Via Collina dirt road for about 1.7 km until you get to a paved road, turn left and after a few hundred meters you arrive at Ristorante Ca 'del Vento, follow the main road for about 2 km, and on the right, you will have a war memorial, overcome it, until you come to a dirt road on the right identifiable by the small shrine to its entrance (trail sign no. 801). This road is quite bumpy with big undulations. After 3.4 km, leave the main road and take a path not well marked. This area of ??gullies is exceeded keeping to the ridge trail, a steep climb to the asphalted road that leads right to Settefonti. After passing the church that we find on the right, take the road on the left Via Piastrino for 1.6 kilometers. Reached a crossroads, turn right on a dirt road, and then immediately turn left, downhill, arriving at the Ciagnano homes. Continue straight ahead even when the asphalt ends, onto a path that enters the wood. Outside the wood you neglect a marked trail on the left continue on the main trail that quickly leads to the crest. Keep going on the ridge road, we arrive at the gate of a picnic. Here, follow the dirt road, reaching the paved road leading to the state Emilia and from there to San Lazzaro.
