Die Kalterer See Runde ist mit 17 Kilometern und 320 Höhenmetern die ideale Trainingstour für den Anreisetag bzw. für Familien, um die Umgebung des Sees zu erkunden und sich einen Überblick zu verschaffen. Zuerst rollt man vom Infopoint in der Kellereistraße in Kaltern auf den Radweg ins Lavasontal hinunter, und dann geht es flach bergab immer Richtung Kalterer See und Auer. Nur ein einziger kurzer Zwischenaufstieg bremst die rauschende Fahrt durch die Weingärten auf dem Weg zum Kalterer See. Am See in Klughammer angekommen, geht es weiter an der Ostseite des Sees entlang auf einer schmalen Straße nach Süden. Knapp südlich des Sees biegt man rechts vom Radweg Bozen-Auer ab und fährt auf ebener Strecke um den See herum, bis man die Weinstraße erreicht. Nun führt der Weg auf einer etwas verkehrsreichen Hauptstraße etwa eineinhalb Kilometer nach Norden, bevor man wieder nach rechts auf einen schmalen Asphaltweg abbiegt. The Caldaro round is 17 kilometers and 320 meters of altitude the ideal training tour for the arrival or for families to explore the surroundings of the lake and to get an overview. First you roll the Info Point in the winery road in Caldaro on the bike path into Lavasontal down, and then it goes flat downhill ever direction Caldaro and Auer. Only one short intermediate climb slows the roaring ride through the vineyards on the way to Lake Caldaro. Arriving at the lake in Klughammer, it continues on the east side of the lake on a narrow road to the south. Just south of the lake, turn right from the bike path Bolzano Auer and travels on level ground around the lake until you reach the Wine Route. Now the way to a somewhat busy main road takes about one and a half kilometers to the north, before turning again to the right on a narrow asphalt road.
