Eine anstrengende, aber sehr schöne Tour mit einen Traumblick auf die Sextener Dolomiten. Von Sillian über den Radweg nach Winnebach in Südtirol und weiter ins Silvestertal. Von hier über eine alte Militärstraße mit vielen Serpentinen zu einem Sattel, von wo aus man nach einem Abstecher zum Strickberg (höchster Punkt der Tour) zu den alten Militärstellungen am Marchkinkele hochfährt. Ab hier traumhaft weiter zum Hochrast und dann auf einem Steig (kurze Schiebestellen) in Richtung Thurntaler zum Gasthaus Gadein. Über Forststraßen und Asphalt zurück nach Sillian.

An exhausting but very nice tour with a dream view of the Sexten Dolomites. From Sillian the cycling path to Winnebach in South Tyrol and on to San Silvestro. From here on an old military road with many switchbacks to a saddle, from where you can boot after a trip to the knitting mountain (highest point of the tour) to the old military positions on Marchkinkele. From here on to the fantastically high snap and then on a riser (short shift points) toward Thurntaler to the inn Gadein. On forest roads and asphalt back to Sillian.
