Vom Campingplatz in Cisano bei Lazise müssen wir erst mal ins Hinterland nach Ponton, um dort den Etschkanal und die Etsch zu überqueren. Dann nach Sant Ambrogio, hier bergauf (entgegen dem Track kann auch auf der Asphaltstrasse gefahren werden, der Track erfordert u. U. einige kurze Schiebepassagen) . In Monte Richtung Forte Monte, hier beginnt eine herrliche Bikeabfahrt auf altem Militärweg mit sanften Gefälle, allerdings teils grob schottrig und am Steilhang entlang, aber für Normalbiker durchgehend fahrbar. Im Tal angelangt auf der Strasse durchs Etschtal, landschaftlich ein Highlight in diesem Felseinschnitt. Zur Einkehr empfiehlt sich ein Ristorante direkt an der Strasse, sehr freundliche Bedienung, gute Preise (kein Coperto) und vorzügliches Essen. Weiter durch die endlosen Marmorfabriken zum bekannten Übergang über die Etsch und auf dem Anfahrtsweg nach Hause.
