Freitag 5.10.2012 Kurz nach dem alten Grenzübergang von Bayern her kommend steht rechts eine kleine Kirche mit einem Parkplatz davor. Es geht mit einer Durchschnittsteigung von knapp 10 % über gute Forststraßen durch den Wald stetig nach oben. Mit Beginn der Almen wird es ein kurzes Stück flacher bis zur Rotwandalm die sehr schön in der Sonne liegt. Ab hier geht es links über einen Karrenweg der gut befahrbar ist in Serpentinen um den Juifen herum ca. 300 hm bis zum Ende des fahrbaren Teils. Auf etwas über 1800 m das Rad an einem kleinen Felsblock stehen lassen und zu Fuß die restlichen ca. 150 hm über den grasbewachsenen Kamm auf den Gipfel gehn. Das dauert ca 20 Minuten und wird belohnt mit einer grandiosen Rundumsicht. Unterhalb des Gipfels auf der steilen Ostseite sind oft Rudel von Gemsen zu beobachten die sich von den Gipfenstürmern nicht stören lassen. Der Weg zurück ist der gleiche wie bei der Auffahrt. Die Tour lohnt sich vor allem anTagen mit guter Fernsicht.
