Der CTF startet im Bürgerhaus Nieder Wöllstadt. Aus dem ort geht es raus durch die Felder in Richtung Westen zum Fuß des Taunus. Bei feinstem Wetter, angekündigt war der heisseste Tag des Jahres, geht es durch den Taunus im Schatten der Bäume rauf zum Steinkopf. Dort ist die erste Kontrollstelle mit Verpflegung. Frisch gestärkt geht es runter, zuerst auf Forstwegen, dann durch eine Vielzahl allerfeinster Trails zum nächsten Anstieg zur 2. Kontrolle. Vorbei am Forsthaus Winterstein geht wieder weiter durch vorzügliche Trails, dann weiter über einige Anstiege zu einem technisch schwierigen Anstieg durch den Wald, um dann wieder auf rauschender Schotterabfahrt zum Ausgangspunkt des ersten Anstieges zu kommen. Wer den Marathon fährt, begiebt sich jetzt auf die zweite Runde. Das Team Edelweiß hat einen tollen Job gemacht, ich freue mich aufs nächste Jahr!

The CTF will start at the community center down Wöllstadt. From the place it goes out through the fields to the west to the foot of the Taunus.
