Diese Tour fährt durch den Wald bis zum Ende. Bis der col de Jou ist es asphaltiert, danach ist es eine Piste. Ein Teil ist sehr steil (da wo die Piste betoniert ist). Trotz dichten Walds, bekommt man eine schöne Aufsicht auf die Berge Gebirge, insbesondere auf der Massif der Canigou. Es gibt die Möglichkeit, in der „Caddy“ bei Casteil zu baden. Wegbeschreigung: Auf die D116 bis Casteil weiterfahren (es gibt etwas Verkehr). Durch Casteil weiterfahren, dort gibt es ein Schild „Col de Jou“: diese Richtung nehmen. Die Straße ist dann kleiner und viel ruhiger und sogar beschattet. In der „Col de Jou“, Piste gegenüber nehmen (der „Refuge de Mariailles“ is mit eine gelbes Schild beschildert). Anfahrt: Auto: über die N116 bis Villefranche le Conflent fahren. kurz am Anfang der D116 Richtung Vernet les Bains gibt es ein Parkplatz. Bemerkung: Man kann auch bis Casteil (die Streke ist ab dort am schönsten, vorher gibt es etwas Verkehr) weiterfahren bzw. parken, und dann mit dem Fahrrad von „Refuge de Mariailles“ bis „Pla Guillem“ weitersteigen. Zug: direkt von Perpignan bis Villefranche le Conflent (Fahrrad kann mitgenommen werden)
