Nachdem alle Getränke vom Vorabend diskutiert und bezahlt sind, geht es direkt vom Hotel Dolomiti der Landstrasse auf Asphalt folgend hinauf bis zum Passo Campo Carlo Magno (1630m). Hier kampierte der Legende nach Karl der Große auf dem Weg zu seiner Krönung in Aachen - heute krönt man hier oben Golfspieler statt Kaiser. Nach kurzer Abfahrt bietet sich eine Rastmöglichkeit in Madonna di Campiglio an. Der Ski-Retortenort entpuppt sich als ideale Raststation nach der Auffahrt und ist auch im Sommer ansehnlicher als zunächst vermutet. Es folgt eine schöne Abfahrt, Teils auf kurzen Trails ins Val Agola. Stoppen sollte man an Wasserfall - für einen Capuccino oder einfach für ein Foto - beides lohnt sich. Nun bergauf zum einsam gelegenen Lago di Agola; nach einer ca. 30 minütigen Schiebepassage stehen wir am Passo Bregn de I’Ors (1836m). Es folgt eine schöne, rund 20 Kilometer lange Abfahrt hinunter nach Stenico (600m) bis nach Ponte Arche (400m).
