Partenza dal santuario di Madonna del Covolo (località Crespano del Grappa) Si può lasciare la macchina nel parcheggio del santuario,vicino all'ingresso della chiesa c'è una fontana per rifornirsi d'acqua.
La salita comincia subito..100m di asfalto e poi in prossimità di un agriturismo diventa sterrata.
Salita lungo la mulattiera alla cima del monte Grappa 1775m. Salita bella su comoda mulattiera.
Dal parcheggio del rifugio Bassano si prende l'alta via degli Eroi in direzione della ex base militare americana.Prendere il sentiero che scende a destra della strada militare che porta ai ruderi della base.
Inizia una fantastica discesa attraverso le trincee della prima guerra mondiale fino al raggiungimento della località 'Croce dei Lebi'. Discesa bellissima con un breve tratto dove si è obbligati a scendere dalla bici. Ora si gira a destra e si procede verso il fondo valle (Val delle Mure) fino al raggiungimento della strada asfaltata.Qui si prosegue per il sentiero delle Meatte esposto a sud con un panorama fantastico della pianura Veneta. Per alcuni brevissimi tratti si deve scendere dalla bici.
In prossimità della malga Archeson si può abbandonare il sentiero e aprendo un cancello di legno per il bestiame proseguire per la stradina non asfaltata che porta comunque alla strada asfaltata che sale dal Tomba...la classica strada degli alpini.Qui si trova sulla sinistra una pozza d'acqua, davanti la chiesetta e sulla destra una malga restaurata. In prossimità di questa malga ha inizio il sentiero n155 che porta in Val di San Liberale. Discesa fantastica su prato con tornati bellissimi da fare in sella.Nel sottobosco il sentiero diventa una mulattiera un pò sconnessa, ma bella da fare.
Arrivati al parcheggio del ristorante si può seguire per la strada asfaltata in discesa e dopo circa un km sulla destra si prende una stradina non asfaltata bella da fare....Si raggiunge un monumento agli alpini e sulla destra si abbandona la strada e si prende il sentiero delle 'Pietre rosse' che riporta al santuario del Covolo.

Start a fantastic descent through the trenches of the First World War until the town 'Cross of Lebi'. Beautiful with a short downhill stretch where you are forced to get off the bike. Now turn right and proceed down the valley (Val delle Mure) until the road asfaltata.Qui you follow the path of Meatte south facing with a fantastic view of the Venetian plain. For a few short stretches you have to get off the bike.
In the vicinity of the hut Archeson you can leave the path and open a wooden gate to the cattle go to the dirt road that leads however to the paved road that rises from the tomb .. .la classical way of alpini.Qui is on the left a puddle of water in front of the church and on the right a hut restored. In the vicinity of the hut N155 starts the path that leads to Val St. Liberal. Fantastic descent back on the grass with beautiful sella.Nel to do in the undergrowth, the trail becomes a trail a little bumpy, but nice to do.
Arrive at the parking lot of the restaurant you can follow the paved road down the hill and after about a mile on the right takes a nice dirt road to do .... You reach a monument to the mountain on the right and leave the road and take the path of 'Red stones' which contains the shrine of Covolo.
