Schöne MTB Tour in der Auvergne um Lac d' Aydat. Es ist oft geschotterter Waldweg, manchmal Strasse, manche Stellen sind auch schwieriger (zumindest für mich) und da einige Kilometer im Wald sind, kann es auch sehr schlammig sein. An manchen Stellen muss man über Zäune klettern (ist aber eine Leiter vorhanden) bzw Gatter auf- und zumachen. Landschaft wunderbar und man trifft nur vereinzelt auf Wanderer, die einen aber alle freundlich grüssen. Man hat immer wieder Blicke auf die Vulkanlandschaft. Am Schluss der Tour sind wir aus Zeitgründen (mussten noch Bier kaufen) auf die Strasse. Ist aber nicht schlimm, da die Strassen wenig befahren sind. Man hätte die Tour auch noch weiter MTB-mässig fahren können. Es sind da beschilderte MTB Wege.

Beautiful mountain bike tour in the Auvergne to Lac d'Aydat. It is often gravel forest road, street sometimes, some places are more difficult (at least for me) and there are a few kilometers in the forest, it can also be very muddy. In some places you have to climb over fences (but a ladder is available) or open and close gates. Wonderful landscape and you meet only occasionally hikers, but they all greet a friendly. It has always views of the volcanic landscape. At the end of the tour we are lack of time (had to buy beer) on the road. But is not bad, because the roads are not busy. It would have been the tour also can continue for MTB entries. There are as signposted MTB routes.
