Hola amigos: Hay que reconocer que hemos tenido ayer (23/05/2009) toda la suerte del mundo. De entrada teníamos una previsión meteoroloca de lluvia al 20% para mi y del 70% para otros menos optimistas. Finalmente hemos ido sorteando las tormentas y salvo una un poco gorda que nos ha pillado a cubierto no nos hemos mojado. En cuanto al viento, soplaba Bochorno toda la noche y milagrosamente a las 6 de la mañana ha cambiado a Cierzo hasta las 3 de la tarde que ha vuelto a cambiar a Bochorno pero de solo 8 Kms/h (ver imagen). No podemos negar que la Virgen del Pilar ha estado todo el día velando por esta panda de insensatos ciclistas. Hemos ido Javier, Javier, Javier, Juan, Federico y Dimas.Voy a detallar al milímetro todo porque esta excursión la repetiremos seguramente en Octubre y años sucesivos y para los que no la hayan hecho la puedan hacer aprovechándose de nuestra experiencia.El tren cuesta 4,60 E y sale con puntualidad británica a las 6,38 de Las Delicias y llega a las 7,21 a Tudela. En el vagón de cabeza y de cola hay dos departamentos para meter como 20 bicicletas en cada uno. El tren iba practicamente vacio de pasajeros en Sábado. Los Domingos no hay tren.Desde la estación de Tudela hasta el Pirulí de Zaragoza son 94,4 Kms, hemos tardado 13 horas lo cual da una media de 7,26 Kms!h y una media en movimiento de 16,4 Kms!h con lo cual podeis deducir que hemos dedicado bastante tiempo al turismo, a la fotografía y vídeo y a la gastronomía. (ver fotos).Es conveniente salir de casa bien desayunado o llevarse "algo" para el tren. Al llegar a Tudela vamos directamente a "El Bocal" que es el nacimiento del Canal Imperial de Aragón. Son 7 Kms. Allí se pasa bastante rato viendo y retratando todas las instalaciones, presas, edificios y el nacimiento del Canal, el "Km0".Seguimos hasta Ribaforada a 5 Kms y alli tomamos para calentar el cuerpacho un café con leche o ColaCao con bollos al precio de 1,10 E por cabeza. El nombre del bar no lo recuerdo, pero entrando al pueblo desde el canal es el primer bar que te encuentras subiendo la calle principal a mano derecha. (En el track del GPS está perfectamente marcado el sitio).Seguimos a Gallur, son 22 Kms. Hay un bar "El Colono" en la C/ Constitución 13 (Pegado al Canal bajando unas escaleras) que te pones pinfo en un almuerzo señorial por 10 E por cabeza. El Ebro y el Canal atraviesan Gallur, si quieres puedes hacer turismo. (Ver satélite Google).Seguimos hasta Grisén y lo pasamos hasta llegar al "Caracól" en Las Murrallas de Grisén, exactamente donde se cruzan el rio Jalón y el Canal Imperial. Son otros 20 Kms. Es un merendero lo más cutre que te puedas imaginar pero que tiene un éxito atroz. (Mira en la foto Google la cantidad de coches aparcados que hay). Si vas en fin de semana hay que reservar llamando al 696 72 18 70 o te quedarás sin comer (no lo olvides, no es por problema de sitio sino de material comestible). Te pones pinfo de ensaladas, chuletas, chorizos, vino y gaseosa y carajillos por 10 E por cabeza.A partir de ese punto hasta Zaragoza quedan 25 Kms que te los haces de cualquier manera atinando con el camino que hay a la izquierda del canal que es el que hay que seguir todo el rato desde Tudela hasta Zaragoza.Es una excursión larga pero fácil porque no hay ningún desnivel en absoluto, el suelo es un camino de tierra perfectamente apisonado, cuidado y sin baches y si pillas el viento Cierzo que es lo habitual ayuda un montón. The Ebro and the Canal cross Gallur, if you want you can go sightseeing. (See Google satellite) .Seguimos to Grisén and had to get to "spiral " in The ramparts of Grisén, exactly where the Jalón river and the Imperial Canal crossing. They are another 20 Kms. It's a seedy picnic area as you can imagine but it has a terrible success. (See photo on Google how many cars parked there). If you go on a weekend you must book by calling 696 72 18 70 or you will not eat (do not forget, is not site problem but edible material). You put pinfo of salads, chops, sausages, wine and soda and carajillos 10 E by cabeza.A from that point to Zaragoza are 25 Kms that you do anyway atinando the road on the left of the channel it is to be followed all the time from Tudela to Zaragoza.Es a long but easy trip because there is no gap at all, the ground is a path of well tamped earth, care without potholes and if pillas wind is Cierzo usual help a lot.
