Diese nette kleine Runde beginnt im Rüthener Stadtteil Meiste und führt zunächst hinauf zum Nachbardorf Kneblinghausen. Von dort geht es endlich in den Wald hinein, nach kurzer Abfahrt wird dann mehr und mehr an Höhe gewonnen. An einer Wegekreuzung mit Zaun (Dreiherrenstein) geht es dann links weg auf den Grenzsteinweg (rotes Symbol), der überwiegend fallend auf einem schönen Trail bergab verläuft. Der Weg muss bald zugunsten der Sauerland-Waldroute nach links verlassen werden. Die Sauerland-Waldroute wird in der Gegend heftig beworben und ist in ihren unendlich vielen Verzweigungen quasi an jedem Baum beschildert. Das Gute daran: für die Route wurden einige Wanderpfade extra neu angelegt, die Markierungen sind (noch) vollständig, und Wanderer gibt es hier natürlich - mangels überregionaler Bekanntheit - kaum. Also links der Waldroute folgen, mit teils knackigen Gegenanstiegen und über einige Brücklein - bis zur finalen Abfahrt nach Ringelstein im Almetal, dem "Tor zur Sauerland-Waldroute". Nun geht es ein Stück durchs Almetal in den Nachbarort Siddinghausen, dessen steile Talflanke zur Auffahrt Richtung Meiste genutzt wird. Noch zwei kurze Trailstücke in einem einsamen Nebental, schon ist Meiste wieder erreicht.

This cute little round begins in Rüthener district Longest first and leads up to the neighboring village Kneblinghausen. From there it goes finally into the woods, after a short downhill more and more will be gained in height. At a crossroads with fence (Dreiherrenstein) it then goes off on the left Grenzsteinweg (red icon), which on a beautiful trail runs mostly falling downhill. The path must be abandoned in favor of the Sauerland forest route to the left soon. The Sauerland forest route is being advertised heavily in the area and is quasi signposted in their infinite number of branches on each tree. The good thing for the route were specially recreated some hiking paths, the marks are not (yet) fully, and hikers, there are of course - in the absence of supra-regional awareness - barely. So follow left the forest route, with some crisp ascents and some little bridges - until the final departure ringed stone in Almetal, the " gateway to the Sauerland Forest Route & quot ;. Now it is a piece Through Almetal in the neighboring Siddinghausen, whose steep side of the valley is used to ramp to most. Two short pieces Trail in a secluded side valley, is already achieved Longest again.
