Quarta traccia di collegamento tra Monfalcone e Trieste.Andiamo in breve a vedere le Fonti del Timavo,fiume sotterraneo che sgorga dalla roccia ed in breve si tuffa nell'Adriatico.Si continua acosteggiare su bei sentieri,anche il Rilke,attenzione ai pedoni.Con una serie cospiqua di sentieri divertenti e tecnici,che qualche volta ci costringeranno al piede a terra per qualche metro,si attraversa Santa Croce,Prosecco e Opicina.Qui inizia la salita,che attraverso il bosco Tomasini,ci porta giusto sulla sella di Banne.Si sfiora Gropada ed in breve si arriva a percorrere il sent.n° 3 che può essere croce o delizia dei bikers,dipende dai gusti,dall'abilità e dal mezzo.
Gran parte di questo itinerario si snoda su sentieri tecnici che ci metteranno a dura prova.
Si rientra attraverso il boschetto Cacciatore che ci catapulta improvvisamente in pieno centro cittadino. Uscita Monfalcone sud in 5 km si arriva in centro,lo si attraversa e quando si trovano dei giardini si vede l'ampio parcheggio in via Valentinis
