L'anello risulta percorribile nei due sensi ma l'opzione qui descritta presenta alcuni vantaggi. Innanzitutto la parte piu' panoramica viene affrontata in salita e quindi si ha modo di poter ammirare con piu' tranquillita' il paesaggio che ci circonda, approfittando magari di qualche sosta. In discesa, si sa, si e' soliti procedere piuttosto spediti, con gli occhi fissi al terreno, alla ricerca della traiettoria ottimale. In secondo luogo, l'ascesa da Mezzenile presenta un fondo in migliori condizioni: la pedalata risulta quindi piu' fluida e un po' meno faticosa. La partenza avviene da Ceres, posto in splendida posizione, alla confluenza tra la val Grande e la val d'Ala.

The ring is passable in both directions but the option described here has some advantages. First of all, the most 'overview is addressed uphill and then you have a way of being able to admire with more' quiet 'the landscape that surrounds us, perhaps taking advantage of some rest. Downhill, you know, you and 'usual rather proceed shipped, with eyes fixed on the ground, searching for the optimal trajectory. Secondly, the rise from Mezzenile has a bottom in the best conditions: the ride is thus more 'fluid and a little' less tiring. Departure is from Ceres, is in a beautiful location, at the confluence of the Grande valley and the Val d'Ala.
