Trail Description


Partenza da Pulfero. Si prende a salire (loc. Loch) la strada che porta a Mersino. Giunti a Mersino Alto (fraz. Ierep) si seguono le indicazioni per il Matajur. Guadagnato il P.sso Glevizza si scende a Montemaggiore. Si segue la strada asfaltata che porta al Rif. M. Pelizzo. La traccia proposta segue il sentiero che porta fino alla cima del M.te Matajur (30 min. a piedi). Dalla vetta si scende al Rif. Dom Matajure. Sempre in discesa si segue una traccia (non obbligatoria) verso le malghe sottostanti. In traverso si arriva presso delle baite dove ha inizio il sentiero segnavia Cai 725. La lunga discesa termina alla chiesa di San Lorenzo. Un breve single track e si raggiunge una sterrata. Si scende su strada asfaltata (percorsa all'andata) e superata la fraz. Marseu alla prima curva è segnalato l'itinerario n. S8 (cartello a bordo strada). La discesa interseca più volte la strada fatta in salita (fare attenzione alle uscite...). Nel complesso difficoltà single trail S2.

Departure from Pulfero. It starts to climb (loc. Loch) the road that leads to Mersino. Once in Mersino High (fraz. Ierep) follow the signs for the Matajur.
