E' il periplo del Monte Cafaggio, spartiacque tra i bacini del Potenza e dell'Esino, che nasce proprio dalle sue boscose pendici. La partenza è da Fiuminata da dove si sale lungo la strada asfaltata che conduce ad Esanatoglia. La si lascia al valico della Morca per salire verso la pineta di Corneto e Prato Pero, costeggiando il fianco occidentale del Monte Cafaggio. La prima discesa è per la Valle di S. Pietro, lungo un veloce sentiero che con 10 stretti tornanti scende fino al fiume Esino. Si risale di circa 500 metri fino al Piano di Pisello ed alla Fonte del Merennino da dove inizia la seconda discesa dei questo giro, dapprima agevole e poi tecnica e scoscesa, che riporta al fondovalle aggirando la Rocca di Spindoli.
